Bucky Covington kicks it with Kix Brooks, new photos by John Dixon, "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at New Country UK and more...

Thanks to the generous John Dixon of Dixon Media for sharing this stellar shot of Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington on stage in Melbourne, FL a few days back.  Mr. Dixon has updated the galleries at both the Help The Good Guys site and Bucky's eOne photo page, and the images are incredible--browse and enjoy!

Another great image--this fun shot popped up on the Kickin' It With Kix Twitter and Facebook this evening, along with this message: " caught up with today in studio."  Sounds like we'll need to keep an ear out for Bucky on Kix's new syndicated show; it airs Monday-Friday at midnight-5 a.m, so check your local country radio station's website or stream the show online

Also at Twitter, two high-flying airport shots--one via Bucky himself (that's Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars smiling beside Bucky) and one by The Farm, who got photobombed by a couple of familiar faces...

Bucky's music is traveling, too--all the way to the United Kingdom, in fact, where New Country UK shared the news that "I Wanna Be That Feeling" "came out of nowhere to be a huge favourite".  (It's a huge favorite with us, too, and we hope the rest of the voters at GAC's Top 50 Videos of 2012 agree. Tune in on Monday, December 24th at 8/7 Central to see how Bucky's beautiful single fared...)

Bucky's next live show happens on December 13th at the Las Vegas Convention Center; he'll take the Academy of Country Music Rodeo Live Stage at 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm as part of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo's interactive Cowboy Fanfest. This one's free and open to the public--don't miss it!

Bucky, Shooter Jennings and "Drinking Side of Country" are still rockin' the ballot at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack. Show 'em some love! All proceeds from downloads of the song through the end of the month benefit the International Association of Firefighters Relief Fund for East Coast fire fighters who suffered losses during Hurricane Sandy, so snag your copy now at iTunes or at the Help The Good Guys store.  Enjoy the night, everyone!

Very quick news: Bucky Covington's "I Wanna Be That Feeling" and "Drinking Side of Country" on the ballot at CMT and GAC, and an IAFF date in Memphis...

Thanks again to Hildi for a terrific shot of Bucky Covington's whole band, taken at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville.  (Left to right: Ducky Medlock, Rocky Covington, Bucky Covington, Kevin Wood and Scott Tweten.)  For your next chance to rock with Bucky's band live, browse his concert schedule at eOne.

Two great singles, two chances to vote for Bucky Covington!  The videos for both "Drinking Side of Country" and "I Wanna Be that Feeling" are now up for our votes at both GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack.  Both songs are from his upcoming album Good Guys, which is available for pre-order now at Amazon, iTunesBucky's official site (with special fan bundles available), and at the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store, where where a Special IAFF Edition is on offer.  Bucky's album is set to drop on September 11th.

Other than that, it's a slow news day, so we'll close with a reminder about an upcoming IAFF event in Memphis, via@mffa1784 at Twitter: "Our charity concert featuring Bucky Covington and John Michael Montgomery is October 19th, (901) 324-9010 for tickets."  That's the Memphis / Shelby County Firefighters Association Benefit Concert, and it's happening at the Agricenter Showplace Arena (7777 Walnut Grove Rd in Memphis). Tickets are $20, and you'll want to come out and enjoy some fine country music for a good cause.

We'll see you very soon--until then, feel free to request Bucky at your local country radio station and have a great night!

Weekend preview: Bucky Covington live at Kings Fair, photos via Twitter, new YouTube goodness and a quick look ahead...

Many thanks to the very kind Colleen for this luminous shot from Bucky Covington's concert last night in Southaven, MS, and to Hildi for graciously zapping it to us.  Bucky's concert schedule is right here--don't miss out on the fun!

Bucky Covington and his band are on their way to sunny California to perform at the Kings Fair in Hanford tomorrow, and if you're in the area, CBS 47 in Fresno has details about all the fair's happenings right here.  Have a great time, and watch out for those deep-fried delights!

One of the songs he'll be singing at the fair, his current single "I Wanna Be That Feeling", has a very popular video that's climbing the charts at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and  CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack--so if you won't be on hand to applaud for him in Hanford, vote for him from the comfort of your computer chair...

Bucky's concert going fans on Twitter have been posting some fun stuff lately!  Kimberly (aka @msBuckyfan) shared this sweet shot of Bucky signing an autograph, and jdixon74's sweeping sidestage shot of the whole band at the Kix showcase is a must-see, as well.  And over at YouTube, new concert footage is popping up--check out this 12-minute two-song treat from muziccitymuzicbryanfan04, and "I'll Walk" at Doughboyz by dannyw24881.  (And if you missed Bucky's own contribution to this week's video goodness, it's right over here and it's a hoot...)

Another awesome fresh concert shot--major thanks to the very generous Mel for sharing this photo of Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington on stage in Ashville last weekend.

After tomorrow's Kings Fair date, Bucky's next two scheduled stops are the Cotton Eyed Joe Customer Appreciation Party & Free Concert in Knoxville, TN on July 12th (click here to print your free ticket at Showclix) and a July 13th show at Generations in Wheeling, WV (tickets on sale now at Showclix.) We'll turn it over to the fine folks at Buckytown USA, where Fran will bring you all the news this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. See you here again Monday night--have a great weekend!

Breaking news: Music Row announces Bucky Covington/Shooter Jennings eOne single coming in August...

Shooter Jennings and Bucky Covington in a studio shot shared by the kind eOne rep at left a little while back (via Twitter, with thanks)

Breaking news via Music Row today--it looks like eOne is making sure we've got plenty of good stuff to listen to this summer and right on into fall!  Music Row's Single Releases Calendar is listing "Bucky Covington with Shooter Jennings/Drinking Side of Country/eOne" as an August 13th release, and earlier today, Bucky shared this exciting tidbit on Twitter: "Had a great time shooting my new music vid yesterday in KY- more details soon!"  (Those of you who've been reading Buckymania for a long time know that we've been huge fans of Bucky's songwriting skills since his hauntingly good "Can't Be Wrong" first caught our ears way back in the day, so this is a doubly exciting development...)

We've still got a hot early summer single to support, too--Bucky's beautiful current release, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", is looking good at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, where the video is climbing both charts.  There can never be too much of Bucky's music on the radio or the TV, y'all!  Click those big colorful buttons up at top right to give him a boost right now, and stand by to support "Drinking Side of Country" as fall gets underway.  Bucky's next live event happens on Thursday, when he and his band will rock the  Kix 106 Smokin'  Summer Showcase with special guests The Lost Trailers at Snowden Grove in Southaven, MS.  More later--enjoy the day!

Edited to add links to photos and info on Bucky and Shooter's upcoming video at Columbia Magazine, Nashville Gab and MJ's Big Blog.  See you soon!--W

Quick news: More Bucky Covington CMA Fest video, new photos at Flickr, Spotlight Country interview, and a sweet leap at CMT Pure...

A big round of applause to the very generous for posting this up-close view of Bucky Covington and his band performing "I Wanna Be That Feeling" live from the Bud Light Bridgestone Stage during CMA Fest. To find out when Bucky will rock a stage near you, check out his schedule at his official website.

Bucky Covington's YouTube channel has been very busy, indeed! Today, this fun montage of sights and sounds from CMA Fest was posted--many thanks for giving those of us who couldn't go a sweet peek at the good times. (Ticketing for the 2013 Fest is already up and running on the CMA site...)

Bucky also was featured in this news clip from Spotlight Country, where he chats with interviewer Jill Wilderman backstage before his Fan Club party.  The full article mentioned in the video clip is available right here.

On Saturday night, Bucky and his band return to the stage for a free show at the Springs Spree in Colorado Springs--those of us who can't be there can enjoy "I Wanna Be That Feeling" on GAC and CMT Pure, where it's climbing the charts quite nicely!  A gracious friend sent word this morning that Bucky's video shot up to #3 (!) this week on CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack , and we're eagerly anticipating good news from  GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and from Music Row's Country Breakout Chart very soon.  (We'd sure love to hear Bucky on the radio even more often...if you haven't given your local country station's request line a ring, now's a good time...)

We'll close with a link to a beautiful gallery of concert shots by JMK Photography Nashville, taken during the Bud Light Stage set and newly posted at Flickr.  Enjoy, and we'll see you tomorrow evening!

Quick news: New videos at Bucky Covington's YouTube channel...

Bucky Covington's YouTube channel has been updated with not one, not two, but three new videos this week!  In addition to the very effective "tour commercial" above (get thee to a show, y'all), there's a sweet "fan testimonial" clip from CMA Fest with some lovely, familiar faces and this fun souvenir from the road (destination: Baltimore).  Enjoy!

Music Row also graciously shared this photo link via Twitter--Bucky and Ducky Medlock performed an in-office acoustic set there before the CMA Fest whirlwind began.

One of our favorite concert photos ever--Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington on stage in Grapevine, Texas as captured by the very kind AmaTexMom of BuckyFanPics fame.  (See AmaTexMom in Bucky's "fan testimonial" video here.)  Thanks again!

What's next?  Look for Bucky and his band on the road all summer long--upcoming stops include a show at the Columbia Music Arena (directions via Facebook) in Portsmouth, OH on Thursday, June 28th (tickets on sale at HoldMyTicket.com), a June 29th performance at the Salamonie Summer Festival in Warren, IN sponsored by K105 (click here for more info), and a date at Dough Boyz in Ashville, OH on June 30th.  (Call (740)983-0696 for more info on that Ashville show...sounds like a wild time in a nice intimate venue!)

We'll be back very soon--in the meantime, feel free to show Bucky and  "I Wanna Be That Feeling" some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack and on your local country station's request line. Take care out there!

Quick news: Bucky Covington at the Old Port Festival (video) and a few odds and ends...

Thanks to WPOR and Groff Video for sharing this seven-minute-plus video from this past weekend's Bucky Covington performance at the Old Port Festival in Portland, Maine. Bucky and Ducky Medlock harmonized on "A Different World" and "Back When We Were Gods" in this clip--enjoy! Bucky's full concert schedule is available at his official website.

Just a couple of quick notes to share this evening:

Bucky Covington shared this photo from yesterday's IAFF gathering in Memphis via Twitter today, along with some excellent news:  "Just announced - $2k raised for the IAFF Charitable Foundation with @HelpTheGoodGuys."  Bucky's Help The Good Guys Presents Bucky Covington fundraiser CD is available now (and packed with some killer new songs), and he'll be making more appearances this year as the charity's official spokesperson.

He and his band are on the road all summer long--the next stop is Saturday's free show at the Springs Spree in Colorado Springs.  After that, you'll definitely want to be there when they return to Wild Bills Atlanta on Friday, June 22nd. This'll be their third time performing at the venue, and a sold-out and very enthusiastic crowd is pretty much a given--don't miss out on this party!

A kind elf reminded us about Bucky's cameo in the excellent new Shooter Jennings video for "The Real Me", which was featured at The Boot yesterday evening.  (We dig Bucky and Shooter big time around here, so it's squarely in the "must-see" file...)

As always, you're invited to join us in applauding for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at GAC's Top 20 Country CountdownCMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack and on your local country station's request line today and every day. We'll see you soon!

Weekend preview: More Bucky Covington Fan Club party photos, WSM archives, CMA Fest continues and a chart check...

Thanks to Happydays for today's terrific photos from Bucky Covington's Fan Club party performance in Nashville.  (Click all images to view full size.)  To browse Bucky's concert schedule, click here.

Bucky Covington "had lunch" with a lot of us today, via the wonders of WSM's live stream from their Durango Acoustic Corner at Fan Fair Hall this morning.  If you weren't able to tune in, never fear--the station keeps an archive of past audio programs, and the announcer reminded us all to check back soon.  Bucky and Ducky Medlock performed "A Different World", "I'll Walk", "Drinking Side of Country" and "I Wanna Be That Feeling" to an overflow crowd, told a few fun stories, revealed the new release date for Bucky's second album (September 11th), and delighted all of us listening at work or at home.  Thanks to WSM for letting us in on the fun...

Also letting us in on the Fan Club party fun are two of Bucky's very generous partygoers:  our kind friend Happydays shared a link to her fab set of party shots at Photobucket with a sweet note to "snag all you want", and Shannon graciously tweeted links to two different albums on Facebook--enjoy this set featuring a few meet and greet extras, and this stellar group of concert images.  Kudos and many thanks, y'all!

Bucky's next CMA Fest event takes place bright and early tomorrow morning, when he'll join Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and many more stars for the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge. The game starts at 9 am at Greer Stadium  (534 Chestnut St. in Nashville)--hope you can be there.

Rocky Covington on stage at Whiskey Bent in Nashville; thanks again to the very kind Happydays for the photo.

He'll wrap up his CMA Fest adventure with a 1 pm  performance at the GAC Living Country Stage as part of The Lodge, an interactive event sponsored by GAC and HGTV.  Tickets for this one were given away during a May contest, but keep an eye on the GAC Facebook and  Twitter for possible last-minute entries. After that, he'll sign autographs for ticket-holders at Booth 739 between 2 and 4 pm.

Last but definitely not least, join Bucky and his band at 5 pm at the Bud Light Stage at Bridgestone Plaza ( Fifth Avenue and Broadway in Downtown Nashville) for a free, public show that's guaranteed to rock!

We'll top things off with a quick chart check--Bucky's new (and hot) summer single "I Wanna Be That Feeling" made its Billboard Hot Country Songs chart debut at #59 earlier this week, and it moved up a notch to #42 on this week's Music Row Country Breakout Chart.  We'll keep on requesting it at our local country stations, keep on voting for his video at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack , and keep on watching it rise higher and higher...

Our talented blogger bud Fran at Buckytown USA will keep you posted with beautiful photos, excellent news and more this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.  We'll see you Monday evening...have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

Bucky Covington serenades the crowd at his first ever Fan Club party concert in Nashville during CMA Fest week 2009; photo provided by the very gracious Diver. Thanks again!

Thanks to Bucky Covington's Twitter for sharing so many links to photos from today's CMA Fest Kick-Off Parade in Nashville earlier today. Bucky waved from a classic fire fighter's truck representing Help the Good Guys, and he was the first country artist down the route.

Via Twitter, Bucky shared this parade shot from The Tenneesean, a great portrait with members of the Nashville Fire Department Honor Guard, a pre-parade handshake with Cowboy Troy, a post-parade smile with Craig Campbell, an inside-the-truck perspective (via Monarch Publicity), and a graceful pose with new country artist Imaj.

Bucky's sold out fan club party begins about 8:30 tonight at Whiskey Bent (directions) in downtown Nashville.  At about 10:30, the doors will be opened to the public, and Bucky and his band will rock the place for one and all!  This is a free show, so if you're anywhere near the area, get on down there now, y'all.  (No word yet on whether or not a live stream is happening tonight, but keep an eye on Bucky's Twitter and UStream.tv for any pleasant surprises...)

Those of us who can't be there (sigh!) can still give Bucky and "I Wanna Be That Feeling"  a big round of applause at  GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, as well as on the request lines at our local country stations.  More soon!

Quick news: Bucky Covington gets racy, and more...

Bucky Covington on stage in Birmingham; photo by the very generous Happydays.  Thanks again!

The first Celebrity Go-Go event happened earlier today--sounds like it was a "racy" good time!  The day of go-kart racing and golfing was a benefit for Hear the Music Live, and by all accounts it was a pleasure for the participants, too.  We'll post more links to photos from the event as they become available--in the meantime, Flying Island Entertainment at Twitter has this glimpse of Bucky Covington and Gwen Sebastian speeding around the track.  There's also a great shot shared by OriginalDreDreamer right here, and another fun Twitter image from CathyAnne...thanks, y'all!

Bucky had a busy day today; he, his beautiful fiancee Katherine Cook and Heather Conley of Monarch Publicity, eOne's Hannah Cox and New Revolution's Rob Dalton stopped in at Country Aircheck's new offices, where Bucky had the honor of doing the first official performance in the publication's new home. You can see a photo of the group (including the good folks who bring you Country Aircheck every day) by clicking here and scrolling down.

Bucky's next scheduled event happens at 11 am tomorrow, when he'll ride in the CMA Fest Kick-Off Parade in downtown Nashville along with lots of your favorite country stars and Help The Good Guys. The parade is free and open to the public, so if you're anywhere near Nashville (lucky you!) be there bright and early...

We'll close with the usual gentle but firm nudge:  be sure to vote for Bucky's hot summer love song "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and request him at your favorite local country station.  To keep up with Bucky's very hectic CMA Fest schedule, click here for our guide to his appearances this week, and follow Bucky's official Twitter and the CMA Twitter, too.  We'll see you soon!

Quick weekend preview: Bucky Covington in California Friday and Saturday, a video and a chart check (updated)

Another great shot from Stockton--Bucky Covington on stage at the Asparagus Festival, as captured by our talented Californian friend Minnie.  Thanks so much!

Bucky Covington is delighting his California fans with two shows this weekend--and he shared a little something for those of us who can't come along!  This fun video was posted to Bucky's Facebook earlier today.  Hmmm...a little behind the scenes intrigue.  Wonder if that door's been unlocked by now.  Hope so--thanks, Bucky!)

That car is headed to this evening's Country for Coaches benefit show in Woodland, sponsored by 101.9 the Wolf and featuring Bucky, Kip Moore, Jon Pardi, Due West, and Matt Gary. The concert takes place at the Yolo County Fairgrounds Arena (1250 East Gum Ave in Woodland, CA) with music beginning at 6 or so; there may be some tickets available at the door for $35, and with a lineup like that, it's well worth the trip...

Tomorrow, Bucky rocks the KATM Listener Appreciation Concert at Weber Point in downtown Stockton, CA.  Today's last ticket stop takes place shortly (between 5 and 7 p.m.  local time) at the Bankhead Theatre in Livermore, and you can also buy tickets for $10 cash at the KAT Country office in StocktonMontgomery Gentry, J.T. Hodges, Jon Pardi, Greg Bates and Jaida Dryer will all be there, and we hope you'll be there, too!

If you were there for Bucky's performance at the 8-Man Jam in Pittsburgh last week, you might see yourself in this newly posted gallery of backstage photos at Y 108's website.  Happy browsing...

"I Wanna Be That Feeling", Bucky's beautiful current single, is holding steady at #43 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart for the second week in a row.  (I think I hear some request lines and some GAC and CMT Pure voting links callin' my name, y'all...how about you?) It should be hitting the publicly-available Mediabase charts soon.  Top 40 could be just around the corner...

In the meantime, please be sure to check in with our good friend Fran at Buckytown USA for this weekend's hottest updates, photos and more this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.  (To those of you getting ready for CMA Fest next week--you lucky folks!--rest up and buy some extra batteries for those cameras, cause it's gonna be a sweet whirlwind.)  Have a great weekend!

Edited to add:  The CMA Fest site is updated, and Bucky Covington has a Fan Fair Hall booth number--say hi to him at Booth 739 this year.  If you missed out during the admittedly complicated Fan Fair autograph pass process,  you can still win one of a limited number of autograph passes through an on-site drawing at the Nashville Convention Center. Click here (.pdf) for a flyer with all the info you'll need, and as always, good luck!

NorCal Country reports that tomorrow night's 101.9 the Wolf Country for Coaches benefit concert in Woodland, CA is very nearly sold out!  The money raised from the show will help fund coaching stipends for the Woodland Joint Unified School District, and the needs are urgent.  Kip Moore, Jon Pardi, Due West, and Matt Gary will be there, too--the music gets underway at 6 pm local time with a set by Matt Gary, followed by Bucky.  Seats may still be available at Brown Paper Tickets, but if they're all gone by the time you read this, a very limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $35.

Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", has been added to a couple of new stations in the last week:  if your local country station's not among them,  call 'em up and let them know you'd like to hear it in your town, too!  We're looking forward to the next chart updates, but for now...yep, you guessed it, vote for Bucky at GAC and CMT Pure by clicking those handy buttons at the top right.  We'll see you soon!

Quick news: Bucky Covington's busy Thursday, and a look back at a "racy moment"...

Thanks again to the very kind Judy Lang for this terrific shot of Bucky Covington on stage in Oklahoma; click here to browse Bucky's concert calendar at eOne.
Bucky Covington and his band are getting ready for a busy weekend--things kick off with not one, but two events tomorrow. Bucky's first stop on Thursday is for attendees of this year's Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, where he, in association with Help The Good Guys, will perform at the Spartan Motors booth beginning at 1:30 pm. During the performance, Spartan will collect donations from attendees for the charity, which honors and supports firefighters and law enforcement officers injured or killed in the line of duty.

And on Thursday evening, Bucky and his band will rock The Babylon (4744 Mid Rivers Mall Dr) in Cottleville, MO--this should be a hot one! Tickets ($15 in advance and $18 day of show) are available online or by phone at Showclix (1-888-71-TICKETS).

Bucky's "American Friday Night" will be spent rockin' the house at Bunkers (220 Old Route 36. in Illiopolis, IL) where he and his band will be opening for Craig Campbell on April 20th. Get your tickets online now at Showclix or by calling 217-486-5100. Thanks again to sponsor station 95Q in Decatur!

Finally, Bucky wraps up the weekend in Arkansas for a special Sunday afternoon show at The Electric Cowboy (9515 Highway I-30, Little Rock, AR). This benefit concert is being sponsored by Help the Good Guys in honor of Jacksonville Fire and Police officers Captain Donnie Jones (LODD), Engineer Jason Bowmaster and Officer Daniel DeMatteo and their families. You can still buy tickets for this one at the Help The Good Guys site now.

We'll close with a link to an old but cool photo that just popped up--check out Bucky's NASCAR style in a shot taken at the Nashville Superspeedway last year. Thanks to Amped Up Motorsports for sharing the moment! We'll be back soon--in the meantime, feel free to ask your local country station to play Bucky's hot new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling" tonight (and every night). Have a great evening--W
