Bucky Covington,  Help the Good Guys and the Chattanooga Firefighters Association Local 820 had a big, big turnout for last Saturday's pancake breakfast in Chattanooga for the benefit of Tristin Greer--and by all accounts, everyone involved had a fantastic time!  There were many news reports on the event, including this story (complete with a cute snippet of video--love that dancer) at Chattanoogan.com, and an article with photo at WRCB-TV.  Today, the Help The Good Guys Facebook wall was updated with exclusive photos from the breakfast.  Many, many thanks to everyone who was able to be a part of this fun fundraiser!

Bucky's busy schedule brought him to two different morning TV shows in his hometown of Nashville today--first, he visited with WZTV Fox 17's Nick Paranjape and Kelly Sutton on Tennessee Mornings, where he and Ducky Medlock performed "Drinking Side of Country" and "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)".

New Bucky Covington TV appearances, weekend reminders and a chart check...

Bucky Covington spoke with ABC News about the fun of writing "Drinking Side of Country", the coolness of Shooter Jennings, his work with Help the Good Guys and more in this What's the Buzz interview spotlighting his excellent new album, Good Guys.  Bucky has a pair of new TV interviews on deck next week--see post for details. Bucky Covington's fans have been busy this week--and we've been loving every minute of it!  We're closing in on the first week of the "Be a Hero, Save a Hero" fire-safety campaign (watch the full :30 video PSA here, and take the pledge to protect your home and our firefighters at AlarmPledge.com), and spreading the word about that big pancake breakfast benefit and acoustic performance for Tristin Greer on Saturday morning at Chattanooga Fire Station No. 1 (218 E. Main St.--be there!)

All that, and we've got some fine music to support, too.  "Drinking Side of Country", Bucky's current single with Shooter Jennings, is hangin' tough at #60 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, and Good Guys is featured on Amazon mp3 this month, where it can be yours for a mere $5.

Looks like next week will be just as busy--Music With a Purpose, the sponsors of Bucky's 11/17 benefit show at the Stardust Drive-In Theater  in Watertown, TN, just Tweeted info about a couple of upcoming TV appearances...

New event: Bowling with Bucky Covington /Acoustic Show, Birmingham AL 12/18

All the info is in the ad above (and thanks to Bucky Covington himself for tweeting the good news today) but just in case that great photo gets lost, here are the details:

December 18th at Lightning Strikes Bowling Center in Trussville, AL: Bucky Covington will be the celebrity bowler at "Bowling With Bucky", a benefit for the family of injured Birmingham Fire Fighter Brad Dean presented by BLEVE and Entertainment One Music. The event begins at 1 pm and ends at 4pm; you can buy a $25 ticket for both bowling and an acoustic performance, or a $10 performance-only seat. (Children under 10 will be admitted to the show free.) The venue is located at 3600 Roosevelt Blvd in Trussville, and more information is available now on Facebook. Hope you can be there!

Something old, something new... (updated)

Bucky Covington's hot new single "I Want My Life Back" (hear it here) officially hits radio on Monday, but if you're lucky, your local country radio station's giving it a spin even as we speak. Bucky's on the radio all over; check out the impromptu visit he made this morning at 98 FM KCQ, and enjoy a gentle acoustic version of his debut hit, "A Different World" via video.
