Bucky Covington in August--the road rolls on...

Many thanks to Jackie Blue for today's photo of Bucky Covington on stage in Rockingham, NC; please click the image to enjoy the video for "Gotta Be Somebody" at CMT, and click here for Bucky's concert dates at his official site.

Thanks to Fran and friends at Buckytown USA for sharing some beautiful new concert photos from Bucky Covington and his band's recent show in Grundy, VA. Measles and Danessa were the gracious photographers, and the images are great! Bucky's upcoming week is busy, as well--he'll be gracing the Grand Ole Opry stage on August 5th, and we're guessing that at least one of the new tunes from his long-awaited second album will be part of the evening. If you can't be there (and we hope you can be), be sure to listen to the whole streamed show on WSM Friday night.

Speaking of that much anticipated new's never too soon to let your friends know that Bucky's got new music on the way. So far, all we have to go on is that sweet Tweet from a couple of weeks ago about Bucky's eOne affiliation and the release of his album in the first quarter of 2012; we're hoping that there'll be more news as the summer fades into fall. In the meantime, though, the very best way to hear his new tunes is to take those very same friends to a live show! Besides the Opry stop mentioned above, Bucky and his band will be at the 2011 2011 Craig Morgan Charity Ride and Concert in Dickson, TN on August 6th & 7th: (info and tickets available now at and at the big Fuddfest in Gleason, WI on August 11th.

More very soon--see you then!
