Bucky Covington concert reminders, and a shameless hint or two...

Two all time favorite concert photos by the very kind Happydays: Rocky Covington (left) and Bucky Covington on stage in Winchester, VA. Bucky, Rocky and the band are working hard on the road this summer and well into fall--click here for tour dates at Bucky's official site.

It's a slow news week so far, so we'll just post a few quick concert reminders:

Bucky Covington and his excellent band will rock the house at the Trinity Entertainment Complex (512 Old Route 66 in
St Robert, MO) on Saturday, August 20th, and word has it that tickets for this one are going fast! Don't miss out--buy your ticket online at ShowClix now, and get ready to party. This is a general admission event, and the show starts at 8 pm.

Bucky's August 30th concert at the Alpena County Fair (625 S 11th Ave in Alpena, MI ) is part of the WATZ Listener Appreciation Night celebration; tickets will be $5.00 at the gate, and the opening bands will be Gunnar and the Grizzly Boys and Phoenix.

We'll close with an update on that upcoming Pineville, WV Labor Day event; our good friends at Buckytown USA and headliner Aaron Tippin's site have that one listed as a September 1st concert. Update via Buckytown USA, 8/27: It looks as though this one's not listed Bucky's official schedule, and the date for Mr. Tippin's performance is now September 3rd. Thanks to Fran for the news--we'll try to keep up with any changes!

(Totally unprofessional note here--a lot of us are officially envious of those lucky West Virginians! We've got plenty of Hometown folk up here in far Northeastern OH --and in New England, and the Pacific Northwest, and a few other country lovin' places our readers have mentioned--who'd cherish a live Bucky Covington show. If you'd like to hear and see Bucky in your hometown, join the official fan club, drop a hint or two in the forums, and be sure to let your local country radio station know you'd like to hear him on the airwaves, too!)

More very soon...
