Here's a very (very) short, sweet glimpse of Bucky Covington behind the mic...not singing this time, but doing a stint as emcee for last weekend's CooterFest turtle race. Of course, Bucky's much better known for rockin' the mic--and the crowd--in the style captured in Colleeen's terrific "I'm Good" video at the end of this post. (Thanks to Colleen for sharing!) A must-hear acoustic version of "I'm Good" can be found on Bucky's new digital EP, REALity Country, available at at Amazon and iTunes. Bucky's current hit single, "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)", is included in his other digital EP release this spring, the essential I'm Alright. Pick up both, y'all...and of course, be sure to let your local country station know you're diggin' "A Father's Love" on the airwaves.)
Finally, how about some awesome concert shots from Bucky and his band's performance at the recent Brick Street Live concert series in NC? Huge thanks to the Brick Street Live folks for sharing these moody, thoughtful photos at Facebook. If all that has whetted your appetite for a live show (and it should have), Bucky's ever growing live schedule can be found at his official site, and expanded up-to-the-minute concert coverage is a click away, courtesy of our friends at Buckytown USA. (Get thee to a show...you can thank me later.) See you soon!
OH MY!! A couple of the shots from the Brick Street concert are absolutely breathtaking!!! Thanks for sharing!
