Fresh concert video: Bucky Covington's "Evel Knievel", live in High Point (and a little chart news, too...)

Thanks to Buckyteacher for sharing this great "Evel Knievel" performance by Bucky Covington and his excellent band--this one was taken at the High Point concert on May 7th. (She caught a funny moment with bassist Steve Cook, too...) For your chance to enjoy some live country goodness, click here for Bucky's ever-expanding concert schedule at his official site.

Bucky's got not one, but two digital EP offerings this spring; both I'm Alright (available at iTunes and Amazon) and Reality Country (also up for purchase at Amazon and iTunes) are musts for your summer playlist. I'm Alright features Bucky's current chart climber, "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)" which was singled out for high praise in Billboard's "This Week at Callout America" column. The columnist notes the song's appeal to both male and female country radio listeners, as well as its high marks with the 35-54 crowd.

Bucky's latest single moved up two spots to #36 on the Hot Country Songs Chart, and broke the Top 30 on the Country Indicator rankings. Lookin' good! (Yep, gonna place a traditional request nag right here...we won't be alone on the phone lines, and with Father's Day coming up, it's safe to expect to hear Bucky's voice on the airwaves more often than ever...)

As always, check in with our friends at Buckytown USA as often as you can for details on Bucky's concert happenings, illustrated with terrific live show photos by his talented fans. See you on the road!
