It's Monday! Meet me at Buckytown USA, and enjoy a little "Lamp Post", too (updated w/WPOC concert photo link)

Updated: WPOC's photos from the weekend's WPOC for Kids St. Jude's show are now posted on their website--hit the rotating banner at top left of the main page to see the 192 images in a pop-up window. Lots of crowd shots, and it looked like the place was packed...if you were there, you might just see yourself!

Many thanks to the very gracious Danna Marie for sharing this bit of excitement from Bucky Covington's Indianapolis show--he and his band performed "Lamp Post", a new original song, to a packed house at the 8 Seconds Saloon. For more live delight this month, be sure to catch Bucky and company on January 23rd at the LHS Country Showdown in Liberal, Kansas (tickets are available locally at Crazy House in Garden City) and at 2nd Avenue Live in the heart of Nashville on the 30th (tickets available online at TicketWeb.com)

Check out Pure 12 Pack on CMT.com. See show times, episodes and vote on your favorite videos. And of course, if you can't make it to a show, you're welcome to share a little bit of that concert thrill via Bucky's great "Gotta Be Somebody" music video--give it a thumbs-up at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT's Pure 12-Pack, and request Bucky at your local country radio station. Rocky Covington's also in the running for a prime honor, too; let Modern Drummer know who your favorite percussionist with a write-in vote in their readers' poll. (Voting ends on February 15th.)

Monday mornings are always bright at Buckytown, where Fran and Renee kindly round up terrific links, news and photos to get our week off to a wonderful start. See ya there! More news later today--W.
