Video: Bucky Covington's new single, "Gotta Be Somebody" (live acoustic)

Thanks to US 103.5 in Tampa Bay for sharing this bit of their recent meet-and-greet with Bucky Covington! He, Jeff Cease and Ducky Medlock treated a lucky group of listeners to an acoustic version of his new single, "Gotta Be Somebody". (A big thanks also to Fran for graciously sharing the link.)

A little more about Bucky's latest hit-to-be, via Lyric Street: the song was a #1 hit for Nickelback, and was written by band members Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake, along with co-producer Joey Moi. Bucky’s upcoming sophomore album, I’m Alright, is due in spring 2010, and the music video (yes!) for "Gotta Be Somebody" was shot during Bucky’s recent hometown concert in Rockingham, North Carolina. The video will hit online and TV video outlets within the next month. (And naturally, we'll be hittin' our keyboards to vote for it on GAC's and CMT's respective Top 20 countdowns soon afterwards.)
