Request reminders, a podcast interview and a show rumor, too...

Bucky Covington on stage at the Alameda County Fair last month; thanks to our talented friend Minnie for tonight's photos.

We're still waiting for the evening Mediabase charts*, but there's no reason to wait to call your local country station--those request lines are open right now!

Ask your live friendly neighborhood country DJ for Bucky Covington's "I Want My Life Back", or say hello to your favorite syndicated host tonight:

The song's been added to the playlists of at least five more stations this week, according to Country Aircheck--it's been a tough chart summer, but "I Want My Life Back" is definitely on the move! (If your local station isn't among those new ones, give 'em a call and ask for Bucky...)

Semi-early-rising fans had a chance to hear Bucky's interview at Chicago's US99; even in the middle of a camping trip on one of his rare days off, he found the time to have a bit of phone fun with morning show hostess Lisa Dent and a lucky caller who chatted with Bucky and won some hot concert tickets, too. The podcast is available at the station's site--enjoy! (Thanks to BJ for the heads-up on this one, and to the kind Anon who posted the link in comments.)

Finally, an interesting rumor via Twitter--could Bucky's fans in California be getting a bonus show? The K-FROG sponsored Wagon Wheel Fest (warning--loud autoplay sound) might be trying to get Bucky on board for their September 18th-20th event. His concert schedule's lookin' pretty jam-packed at the moment, but you never know. (You do know his California fans would love to see him!) We'll keep you posted...

*Mediabase updated as we were speaking--"I Want My Life Back" finishes the day at #35 with a bullet, and moves up a notch to #14 on USA Today's Idol Chatter blog's Idol airplay chart this week. More soon--Winnie
