Changing times, sweet memories (and a few new videos)

Bucky Covington's "A Different World" has now officially gone recurrent on the Mediabase country charts--and what a sweet first ride on the charts it's been! From that first Christmas night huddled around our Sirius trial subscriptions for those pre-release "Beyond the Buzz" airings, to today's awareness that we'll be hearing Bucky's debut smash on country radio for years to come...it's only the beginning of a long and lovely musical journey.

And the second leg of that trip is starting up quite nicely, too--Bucky's soon-to-be-smash "It's Good to Be Us" is already heading up the charts at #76 on the weighted Mediabase listings and #86 on the Top 500 as of the Sunday p.m. report.

In the mood to celebrate Bucky's hits--past and present? There's plenty of new video goodness online today to help you do just that. You can enjoy a snippet from a live performance of Bucky's next hit in this clip from his appearance at Country Thunder earlier this summer, or check out full-length versions of "I'm Good" and "American Friday Night" from the same show.

Bucky's Cancun Cantina rave-up this past weekend had a generous videographer present as well--here's his enjoyable take on "Suspicious Minds" and the crowd pleasing "Bible and the Belt" from that night, along with both his intro and performance of "Empty Handed". And there's more video from this show on the way--Aikenseeker got some excellent footage that night, and she'll be sharing it very soon. Stay tuned!

We'll close this video update with a hometown blast from the past--highlights of Bucky's performance at WKML's Big Hearts Bash earlier this spring were captured by noplclkhmlbg, who graciously posted her clips at Photobucket.

A big thank you to all the kind photographers who've documented the joy of hearing Bucky Covington live! More later this morning--Winnie
