Bucky Covington and co-writers Rocky Covington and Ducky Medlock want a word with you in this clip posted by Help The Good Guys at YouTube. From the video's description:
All profits from the new single "Drinking Side Of Country" through December 31st go to the International Association of Firefighters Relief Fund for East Coast fire fighters who lost their homes or had severe damage from Super Storm Sandy. Please email or call your local radio station and ask them to play the song and let their audience know to purchase the song from www.helpthegoodguys.com or iTunes.
We especially like the idea of letting local country stations know about the way that Bucky's single is helping firefighters in need--spread the word!
A favorite concert photo by the very talented Judy Lang: Bucky Covington on stage in Tulsa, OK.
Bucky's hot new single is great in your mp3 player, rockin' on your radio and absolutely awesome live. There are two new concert dates listed on Bucky's tour calendar for 2013--a stop at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green on February 16th, and a show at the historic Burlington Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT on May 11th. We'll have more info on those concerts as soon as it becomes available...
Available right now (and lookin' nice) is this week's Music Row Country Breakout Chart, where "Drinking Side of Country" has moved up two spots to #58. We'd love to see it hit Top 40 soon--and we'd love to hear it on Lia, The Big Time w/Whitney Allen, CMT Radio Live w/Cody Alan and After MidNite, too. Bucky's got a fantastic, fun song and a great cause--that deserves some prime airtime, yes?
Speaking of airtime (I'm almost done nagging, honest), it's been a pleasure seeing that rowdy music video on GAC and CMT! Keep the ball rolling--vote for Bucky and Shooter at GAC's Top 50 Videos of the Year (where videos for both of his Good Guys singles are nominated) and at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack. Have a great night!
