Very quick news: Bucky Covington's bar scene, at home and on the road...

Bucky Covington and his band performed at the 50th Kentucky Apple Festival in Paintsville last weekend--and the fans also broke the all-time record for show attendance! The record crowd enjoyed this fun version of "Gotta Be Somebody", among many other tunes from Bucky's hot new album, Good Guys (available now at Amazon, iTunes, the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store,  Bucky's official site, or at a store near you)--thanks to for catching so much of the show on video and graciously posting it at YouTube.

Wanna get some sweet concert video of your own?  You'll have plenty of chances coming up--Bucky and his band will rock several Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill locations soon.  Hear them live in Rosemont, IL on Wednesday the 10th  (tickets at Showclix), and at Toby's venue in St. Louis Park, MN on Thursday the 11th (also at Showclix). And on Wednesday, October 17th, they'll play Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill  in Cincinnati, OH--yep, Showclix again. Be there for one (or all) of those dates--they're gonna rock...

Speaking of bars, Bucky did a bit of enjoyable crowd-sourcing on Twitter over the weekend...he asked his followers there for a good name for his new bar at home, and he'll be announcing the winner here very soon. Check it out!

Other than that,  it's a fairly quiet news day (sigh), but it doesn't have to be quiet where you are--request "Drinking Side of Country" , at your local country station, and vote for Bucky and Shooter at  GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack.  We'll say goodbye for now with a note of congratulations to Kellie Pickler, who was signed to Black River Entertainment's artist roster recently.  Can't wait to hear her new music!  Have a great evening, and we'll see you here tomorrow night...
