Weekend preview: Bucky Covington sings "God Bless The USA" (video), a chart check, a concert in Kentucky, and something "cool and important" at Facebook...

Thanks to Bucky Covington for posting this video at his YouTube channel today! Enjoy this acoustic performance of "God Bless The USA", then click here to find out when he and his band will be performing on a stage near you.

Bucky Covington's weekend gets off to a flying start on Saturday at the Kentucky Apple Fest in Paintsville;  he'll take the stage at 8 pm, and the show is absolutely free!

If you love a mystery (we do!), hop on over to Bucky's Facebook now, where there's a brand new, very short mystery snippet posted.  The video bears this caption:  "Shooting something really cool and really important...stay tuned!"  Bucky's work with Help the Good Guys (an organization dedicated to helping firefighters injured in the line of duty, and their families--check out their Facebook here) keeps him very busy, and we see plenty of firefighters in that clip.  Can't wait to find out what's coming up...

Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington on stage in Iowa; many thanks again to the megatalented Judy Lang for this classic concert shot!

A quick look at the Music Row Country Breakout Chart brings good news--Bucky's single with Shooter Jennings, "Drinking Side of Country" , moved up from #71 to #68 this week.  (Vote for it now at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, request it at your local country station, and more country fans can enjoy that wild audio party!)

We'll hand it over to our fabulous friend Fran, who shares the hottest news, videos, stories and more every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning at Buckytown USA.  And if you haven't already done so (what are you waiting for--it's hot!) get your own copy of Bucky's new album, Good Guys, at Amazon, iTunes, the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store,  Bucky's official site, or at a store near you.  Have a wonderful weekend, everybody!
