Quick news: Bucky Covington's "Drinking Side of Country" (live video), 99.5 WYCD update and more...

Thanks again to the generous , who posted this great live version of "Drinking Side of Country" at YouTube!  Bucky Covington's new single (featuring the awesome Shooter Jennings) is at radio now, and you can request it tonight at your local country station.  The fantastic music video is a must see, too; vote for it at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack.

Bucky's bar-name Twitter search has come to a close--if you've ever at his house for a refreshment or two, ask to visit the Fender Bender.  Congratulations to , who came up with the winning contribution.

The fine folks at 99.5 WYCD are sponsoring Bucky's upcoming show in Auburn Hills, MI, and they've updated their website with an announcement:

Join 99.5 WYCD on October 12th at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Auburn Hills with North Carolina native, Bucky Covington!

You’ll hear songs from his brand new sophomore album, Good Guys including "I Wanna Be That Feeling" and "Drinking Side Of Country!"

If you’ve followed Bucky Covington since his American Idol finalist days, (2005-06 season) you know that he puts on a great charismatic show! Don’t miss this opportunity to see him LIVE for only $5! (21 and older)

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill is located at 4698 Baldwin Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

Finally, a quick look at Buckytown USA's right sidebar reveals a change in the band--looks like Luc Nyhus has rejoined as lead guitarist.  We want to welcome him back, and to wish Scott Tweten all the best!  See you here tomorrow evening...
