Yesterday's official eOne label announcement inspired a lot of excellent articles in the country music press--and this one at Country's Chatter, complete with terrific fan photographs and publicity shots, is a favorite. (Come for the Bucky article, stay for the splendid music scene coverage by Country...) The Boot and GAC were among the many media outlets spreading the good news, and Bucky got plenty of well-wishes from fans and fellow musicians on Twitter. Wanna congratulate Bucky in person? His October concert dates are the perfect opportunity--he and his band will rock the Snorty Horse Saloon in Columbia, MO on October 8th ( tickets are $15, and you can buy them now via PayPal from the venue's front page), the State Theater in Starkville MS on October 21st (tickets, $12, available online now at TicketBiscuit; they'll be $15 at the door) and that free Bluffs and Bayou Music Festival show at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center in Vidalia, LA on October 22nd.
