Coming up: Bucky Covington interview on WGLR Wednesday morning, and concert reminders...

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington on stage at the Boone County Fair--thanks again to our incredibly talented friend Judy Lang for this one! Click the image to check out Bucky's concert calendar at his official site.

Bucky Covington's radio interviews are always a lot of fun, and this upcoming one is likely to be no exception--here's the scoop from WGLR's official Facebook (via Twitter):

WGLR's Rob Spangler, will chat with Country Star Bucky Covington THIS WEDNESDAY morning in the 9AM hour! Bucky is performing this Sunday Night, 8pm @ The Iowa County Fair, and before his performance you can see him take on our own “Queen B Radio Allstars” in “The Pioneer Ford Mercury: Bucky’s Bash Celebrity Softball Game”, 10am Sunday morning @ Soldiers Memorial Park in Mineral Point! Celebrity interviews are sponsored by The BARn in Platteville!

Looks like the station offers streaming live audio--no matter where you'll be on Wednesday morning, you'll be able to listen in. Thanks to WGLR for the heads up!

About that Celebrity Softball game--here's a handy map to get you to Soldiers Memorial Park (Shake Rag St, Mineral Point, WI). The proceeds help WGLR's Holiday Auction. If you're local, get out there and show the station (and Bucky) some love!

Buckytown USA has this week's concert schedule covered, but good news bears repeating: you can see and hear Bucky and his band tomorrow evening at the Alpena County Fair (625 S 11th Ave in Alpena, MI ) for WATZ's Listener Appreciation Night concert. Tickets are just $5.00 at the gate, and the openers are Gunnar and the Grizzly Boys and Phoenix. After that date, they'll perform at the River Days Festival in Portsmouth, OH on September 2nd, then the bus heads out to the Iowa County Fair in WI on Sunday.

Back with more soon--in the meantime, be sure to hit Bucky's official Twitter for some Monday fun. Have a good one!
