Thanks to indygal1977 for posting this video from Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" performance at Steve Cook's birthday bash in beautiful Nashville last week--we're diggin' that slightly different arrangement of this huge hit song. (Bucky's 2010 tour is pretty much done, but he and his excellent band will be heading your way again in 2011. Stay tuned for details...)
Bucky Covington's fans absolutely rock--thank you so much for your emails, suggestions and constructive criticism about the proposed changes here at Buckymania. (If you haven't written, please feel free to--the mailbox is always open.) Together, we've been "voting for Bucky" since '06...the music biz landscape has changed a lot since then, but our quest to get and keep Bucky's voice and music on the airwaves and stages remains the same. Blogging's changed a lot, too--Twitter and the like have made it largely superfluous! In light of that, here are a few changes you suggested for the coming year:
- Shorter, more frequent posts
- Cleaner, more mobile-friendly layout
- Bigger photos and more video
- Quicker and shorter concert announcements
- More live show reviews (the recession killed my 2009/2010 live-show budget, but I'd love to be there for more concerts in 2011!)
- Improved commenting options
