Very quick notes: Bucky Covington's "A Different World" live (video), new photos at IG2BU, and a sweet fall teaser...

Bucky Covington, his excellent band and a hometown Nashville crowd all had a good time with "A Different World" at Chely Wright's Reading, Writing & Rhythm Benefit Concert last month; thanks to alanice for sharing the fun. (For information on your chance to sing along with Bucky and his band this summer, bookmark Bucky's concert calendar now, and check Buckytown USA daily for tour updates, great photos and lots more.)

Ahh... the Fourth of July has come and gone for another year. Summer's half over, the fireworks are a sparkling memory, and naturally, a Bucky Covington fan's attention turns to...September? Hmmm. We're hearing a buzz about something big happening on September 28th--what that "something" might be is still a mystery, but it's safe to guess that all (or at least most...some?) will be revealed at Bucky's official site before too long. Hang in there...and yes, I'm very curious, too!

Meanwhile, there's no mystery about Bucky and his band's live whereabouts this week, save the venue for the Columbus show on the 9th. (Update: Our talented friend Fran at Buckytown USA mentions in her morning update that the Columbus concert has been canceled--check with Buckytown for the latest.) Bucky and company will definitely be rockin' the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, WI on July 8th; call 1-800-762-3803 or 715-369-1300 from 8:00 am to 4:30pm CST for more info. (There's a list of regional ticket outlets available here as well.) On the 10th, they'll hit the Wild Duck Cafe in Baltimore for a night of fun, and you can get your ticket at Ticket Web.

Last but definitely not least, be sure to stop over at It's Good to Be Us for some great summer concert shots--click on them all to see the beautiful photography full-size, and enjoy! More ASAP...

Bucky was in Arizona for July 4th and he put on a great show. He is so energetic and fun. And the man likes to talk as well as sing and dance. haha He said he did not mind doing an outdoor concert in 107 degree Arizona because that meant the women show up not wearing much clothes. haha The crowd was super HUGE!
