A little concert excitement from out West, courtesy of the fine folks at Froggy 92.9: "The first-ever Froggy Freebie! Bucky Covington live at the Stony Point Grill in Santa Rosa, CA, performing his single 'A Father's Love' for the Frognation!" Huge thanks to Rob and Joss for posting this one on YouTube today. They've got more video for you right here, and it's a safe bet that their Scrapbook will feature some new photos very soon...
Bucky's summer tour is in full swing, and as usual, Buckytown USA has the scoop--along with some stunning concert shots by the talented Judy Lang. (We posted another of her terrific shots below; for the full set, click here and enjoy.) Recently added dates include the Central Washington State Fair on October 2nd (Bucky's show is free with your fair admission; reserved seats are available for a very reasonable $11) and a September 10th show during the Dan Patch Days celebration in Oxford, IN. Bucky and his excellent band are working hard to make your summer rock--be there live! As always, bookmark Bucky's official site and stay tuned for more news.
Bucky's touring behind a very strong single at the moment, y'all. How strong is it? It looks as if the Top 20 quest has officially begun, and doesn't it feel good to say that! This week's Billboard chart position was a lofty #23, and even with Father's Day in the rear view mirror, "A Father's Love" is still warming the hearts of country radio listeners everywhere. You can join in on the request line fun, too--click here for a station finder.
Thanks again to Judy Lang for the great closeup concert photo below, taken at last week's Omaha show. (Hmmmm...did we mention that you really, really, really ought to see Bucky Covington live this summer? Have fun, and remember your camera! See you on the road...)
