LHS Country Showdown memories from CrusaderNews.com, concert reminders and more...

Bucky Covington serenades the crowd at the LHS Country Showdown in this this terrific concert shot by our talented friend Judy Lang--thanks so much!

Bucky Covington and his band rocked the LHS Country Showdown in Liberal, Kansas last week, and Deisi Barboza of Crusader News.com covered the event beautifully. There's a full review of the show posted at the site, along with a full and fantastic photo gallery. (An excellent audio interview with Bucky, set to a photo montage, was posted at YouTube earlier this week.) Many thanks to Deisi Barboza and Crusader News for sharing!

For more info on Bucky's must-see live concerts, be sure to visit the Tour page at his official site, as well as the handy sidebar at BuckytownUSA. Bucky's next show happens tomorrow night at 2nd Avenue Live in Nashville. (18-and-up event, tickets are available online at TicketWeb.com.)

After a sold-out stop in Hartford for the Country 92.3 Concert For Kids St Jude's benefit on February 1st, Bucky and company head to Atlanta for a wild show at Wild Bill's on Saturday, February 6th--tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster now. Finally, on the 9th, enjoy Bucky and special guests The Band Perry at a St Jude's benefit concert at WorkPlay in Birmingham, AL sponsored by 102 Five the Bull; tickets ($20) are on sale now at the WorkPlay box office.

Vote for Bucky Covington at CMT's Top 20 Country CountdownWe'll wind it up with our daily nag...um, "encouragement" to vote for Bucky's excellent "Gotta Be Somebody" music video--no surprise, yes? Show him some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown (then tune in tonight to see how the video's doing) and request Bucky at your local country station, too. See you soon...
