Nashville, TN
– Lyric Street recording artist Bucky Covington’s new music video for his current rising single "Gotta Be Somebody" (see it at GAC now) recently made its debut on fan-voted Great American Country’s Top 20 Countdown. Directed by Devin Pense, this high-energy, live video spotlights his hometown community of Rockingham, NC. Filmed in the local town square during Bucky’s recent homecoming concert, the video features a packed crowd of over 6,000 fans, friends and family who all roared with excitement to be a part of this surprise video shoot. "Gotta Be Somebody" can also be viewed at various online outlets.
Bucky Covington’s latest single "Gotta Be Somebody" is a country style version of the Nickelback smash written by band members Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake, along with co-producer Joey Moi. Currently climbing the country charts, this song is from his upcoming sophomore album, I’m Alright, to hit streets in spring 2010. Currently, Bucky is on the road playing shows all across the country and will be performing in San Diego, CA on December 11 and 12.

(Congratulations, Bucky! We can help keep the winning streak going--vote for "Gotta Be Somebody" at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT's Pure 12-Pack, and be sure to contact your local country station, too. Thanks to Lyric Street for the good news. More soon--Winnie)
