Bucky Covington gives game show winnings to the Arthritis Foundation, and a request reminder...

(Please click the image to see the wide-screen video at YouTube--thanks!)

A fun concert clip, by special request--here's Bucky Covington and his excellent band performing his current single, "Gotta Be Somebody", in Columbus, Ohio earlier this year. Huge thanks to the very generous LISAMARIE22685 for sharing it at YouTube!

There's a bit of brand new buzz about the Bucky Covington concert tomorrow night at the Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville--not only are you in for a great night of music in celebration of the venue's grand reopening, but you'll be there for the presentation of his winnings from his Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader appearance earlier this year. The Arthritis Foundation's Tennessee chapter will be the recipients of his game-show prize and of the proceeds from the concert, and both CMT and the Nashville Country Club have more info. We'll post that ticket link again, as well--buy yours online for $10 at Ticket Alternative.com or for $12 at the door. Hope you can be there! (Thanks to a very kind anonymous commenter for the Country Club link.)

Can't be in Music City tomorrow night? Bucky's music is always as close as the radio--and if you're a social-networking buff, your local country station and your favorite syndicated stars are just a phone call and/or click away. (The chart chase for "Gotta Be Somebody" begins again, y'all--to the phones we go!)

Good morning! I wish we could both go tonight Winnie. :P Are you going to the Indy show?

  2. Hey, neighbor! Nope, not going tonight, or to Indy either--but I am going to be hitting a lot of country concerts come springtime. Maybe I'll see you on the road?
