Bucky Covington performed for a hometown crowd in Rockingham, NC last month; many thanks to Judy Lang for this terrific photo. (The beautiful new video for Bucky's current single, "Gotta Be Somebody", was filmed at this show; click here to watch it at CMT.com.)Bucky Covington's acoustic shows are a definite treat--don't let the word "acoustic" lull you into thinking you're in for anything other than a very high-energy time. His acoustic set rocks! See and hear it for yourself tonight at Tractor Supply (4011 17 Mile Rd NE in Cedar Springs, MI ) between 6-7 pm, when Bucky (and very likely, Ducky Medlock and Jeff Cease) bring their guitars and their voices to B93's "Roofsit 2009" free concert series. The show is free, and the fun is priceless.
Bucky's show with Darryl Worley at the IP Casino Resort and Spa in Biloxi, MS is going to be a blast, too; sponsoring station 101.1 WNOE is giving away tickets, but you'll need to register very soon. The show's happening on November 7th, and tickets are available at Ticketmaster right now. Good luck! (As always, we'll direct you to Bucky's MySpace calendar, Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky's official tour page for the latest concert news...bookmark them all, and be there for the good times.)
There's a new single, and there's a new look at the beautiful Buck Wild blog, where Lisa/Judge FL has some gorgeous graphics, great video and more posted for your enjoyment. Be sure to check it out...
"Gotta Be Somebody" continues its sweet and steady chart ascent--it's now #7 on the Mediabase Spincrease list, with 29 new spins in the last 7 days. (It was also a part of WKML's "Top 5 at 6" last night--let's do it again, y'all! Zap a quick email requesting Bucky's latest to Larry K at country @wkml.com with "Top 5 at 6" in the subject line, then "lather, rinse and repeat" for your own local country station. We've got virtual champagne all chilled for that upcoming Top 40 celebration.)More soon--happy Wednesday!
