Quick Tuesday news: Bucky Covington in Columbus on 10/16, an encore "Gotta Be Somebody" link, and a few reminders...

Thanks to Tiffany for this fun up-close-and-personal concert shot from Bucky Covington's show at Icabod's in Fort Myers--the intimate (but wild!) event was a benefit for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Click the image to see Tiffany's terrific "Unchain My Heart" video from that night, and click here to see when Bucky and his band will be rockin' a venue near you.

Looks like all of this morning's hot news actually came in last night--see our Monday evening post for the proof. We'll just post a few reminders for now:

Bucky Covington and his stellar band will play the All-American Quarter Horse Congress on 10/16 in Columbus, OH--this is a general admission show, and tickets ($20) can be purchaed online via Ticketmaster. (Admission to the Congress is separate; see their site for details.) Next up: Bucky, Justin Moore and Chris Young are the stars of this year's WYRK's Acoustic Concert in Buffalo, NY at the UB Center for the Arts on 10/21. Tickets for this one ($20) are also available at good ol' Ticketmaster.

Bucky's technically-not-yet-released single, "Gotta Be Somebody", made its first appearance on a Billboard chart last night, debuting at #53 on the Country Indicator listings. The single's impact date is 10/19, but many forward-thinking country stations are already playing it--including our beloved WKML, where Larry K would love to hear from us again today! Send him a friendly email requesting "Gotta Be Somebody" between 7am and 3pm Central at country@wkml.com, with "Top 5@6" in the subject line. The countdown streams, so you can listen in online at 6 ET. (Bucky took the #4 spot yesterday--will he move higher as the buzz begins to grow? Request, tune in and see...)

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington delighted the hometown crowd in Rockingham, NC--thanks again to the very talented Judy Lang for the concert shot.

Our much loved listening link to WBEE has expired, but Bucky's Rochester, NY fans can still request the song for their local airwaves! In the meantime, that sidebar banner link goes back to the excellent Headline Country blog, where you can enjoy hearing "Gotta Be Somebody" in their 10/1 "New Music" post.

More very soon...have a beautiful Tuesday!

How great can it get? Bucky, Harry Chapin Food Bank (I LOVED Harry!), and "Unchain My Heart"?
    Thaks for the day-brightener, Winnie!

  2. Hey there, Moon! How are you? Harry Chapin was immensely talented, and it's really cool to know that that food bank is part of his legacy. (And Tiffany's video--wow, yes?) Thank you for stopping by!
