Bucky Covington and "Gotta Be Somebody": taking off in fine style on your radio this week...

It's official--Bucky Covington's latest single, "Gotta Be Somebody", is now on the Taking Off chart at Mediabase, a little ahead of its October 19th impact date. (The song is currently on the menu at KATM in Stockton, KZSN in Wichita, WOGK in Gainesville, KUZZ in Bakersfield and KSOP in Salt Lake City, among others.) We're also looking forward to the video version getting some prime time on GAC and CMT...stay tuned for more news on that. Congratulations, Bucky!

I was going to post a bit more now that our internet connection is fully repaired but...looks like it was a slow news day! The only real newsflash-du-jour is a beautiful trade ad that popped up in support of Bucky's very buzz-worthy new single (see our left sidebar), and word of new airplay here and there. Are we getting closer to that Billboard debut, and how hot will Bucky's single be before that technical release date of 10/19 ? Stay tuned...Winnie

  1. Winnie - I requested Bucky's new single on our Classic Rock Station NY... I hope they give it a shot. Since it's Nickelback maybe they would. Gave them a quick run down on Bucky. AI info and 3 top 15 hits. So let keep our fingers crossed. That would be great.

  2. Hi, Pizzi--how's it going? Hey, you never know about pop/rock airplay...it could happen and I am so curious about how that station treats your request! Keep us posted, please! :)
