Tuesday morning wake-up call: "Gotta Be Somebody", live in Rockingham...

Bucky "Gotta Be Somebody"

The sound's not studio-perfect, but the memories are priceless! A huge and hearty congratulations to each and every Bucky Covington fan who was there for his landmark homecoming concert this past Saturday. We'll have a full roundup of late news and links from Bucky's return to Rockingham later today, but for now, here's a freshly-posted video from the very gracious Covington Crazy at MySpace. Bucky performed his very soon-to-be-released single "Gotta Be Somebody" for the enthusiastic hometown crowd, and Fran at Buckytown USA reports that footage for the music video (yes!) was captured there, along with scenes for a GAC report on Bucky that will air in April.

And there's more "Gotta Be Somebody" news to share--according to Country Aircheck, the song's official impact date is October 18th, but the "shipping date" (in this day and age, that's a pretty metaphorical term) is now. It's already turned up ahead of schedule as part of the playlist on one country radio station so far this week, and it could be headed out over your speakers next. Keep an ear out for those songfights and pick-or-flicks...

More in a bit--good morning, all!
