Quick Thursday news: Bucky Covington in Pennsylvania, video rumors, chart check and more...

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington share the mic on stage in Merced, CA; thanks again to the very kind Minnie for the photo.

Tonight's Bucky Covington concert at the Fayette County Fair in Dunbar, PA is bound to be a hot one; the music gets going at 7 pm with special guest Kellie Lynne, and you can still snag a click-and-print ticket at the fair's site. Keep it tuned to Froggy 101 for updates, and have fun--Bucky and his excellent band will definitely rock the house!

The show at Dave & Bob's BBQ in Winchester, Virginia tomorrow night sounds like a truly intimate acoustic event. Buckytown USA reports that a "Nashville Honkytonk Style" performance will take place at this 200-seater venue, with the overflow crowd enjoying it by live video feed. Call 540-678-0227 for info, and enjoy this very rare chance to see and hear Bucky and company in a delightful, up-close atmosphere. (For more tour details, check out Bucky's MySpace calendar, Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page and get ready for an incredible night of music...)

Bucky Covington shares a smile with the crowd at the Greeley Stampede; many thanks to Judy Lang for this fun photo.

Bucky's current single "I Want My Life Back" is as up-close as your fingertips--you know, the ones you use to call up your favorite DJ on his or her request line! It's still part of that traffic jam on Mediabase this morning (#35 with a slender bullet) but it's poised for a hop in the next few days, with several hits now making their graceful descent from the top. Requests are vital this week--we'd be so happy to see things finally get moving again!

The song is a big hit in Pittsburgh, where Bucky's been charming the listeners on Y108's "6 O'Clock 6 Pack" countdown (check him out on the station's front page today, and see him at Y108's Thrillbilly Bash on September 19th), and in Fayetteville, where "I Want My Life Back" was once again part of Larry K's popular "Top 5 at 6" on WKML. (We're cordially invited to write him today at country@wkml.com and ask for the song again.) Those countdowns are a fun and easy way to cheer for Bucky's single--make sure to find the one in your hometown, and make your feelings known.

Finally, a couple of video notes--the rumor (just a rumor, for now) about Bucky's possibly completed music video for "I Want My Life Back" has been making the rounds for a while--we first heard it mentioned in a photo caption in Country Weekly magazine, but other than that? Crickets. (If you know something about it, we'd all love to hear it...better yet, we'd love to see it on CMT and GAC!)

And speaking of GAC, there are still a few days left to let them know we missed seeing Bucky's "A Different World" video as one of the options on their Top 20 My First Time Countdown ballot. Their email address is gacnews@gactv.com, and they've asked for suggestions...

Last but not least (whew!), a repeat news video link from this morning--don't miss WETM's quick chat with Bucky about his feelings on Paula Abdul's leaving American Idol. The clip is right here--enjoy. Have a terrific Thursday, everyone--Winnie
