Ducky Medlock and Bucky Covington share the spotlight in Harker Heights in this great photo taken by Texas Proud Bucky Fan, who had the pleasure of enjoying Bucky's four-show Texas sweep in style. Thanks so much for your generosity, and we're glad you were there for the party!A very quick news sweep for a quiet Friday morning:
Tonight's "Club KIX" show at the the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma is an 18 and up event; a few general admission tickets ($25) are available for will-call pickup through TicketStorm. Doors open at 7 pm, and the music begins at 8--you will definitely want to be there for the fun! Thanks to KIX 102.5 for sponsoring this one.
Judy Lang created today's compact and classic request banner--thanks so much!Bucky's "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is more likely than ever to be gracing your radio airwaves--even with all the chart wildness and superstar polevaulting, it's a strong #40 on today's Mediabase published chart with a steadily growing bullet. The plumper the bullet the better, though, so we'll keep requesting--whether you're listening to country radio over the air, via satellite or online, there's an opportunity to give Bucky a boost and have fun doing it. (It's going to be a busy weekend, too--between the countdowns and our phone calls, there should be a whole lotta Bucky on the radio in the next couple of days...)
Coming up today (I promise!) that CMA Fest post. For now, how about a little video preview via the CMA and USA Today? They were there for last year's press conference, in which several established country superstars and legends--and promising newcomers--talked about the joys of the festival. Guess who they picked to represent the "up and coming" country stars in this clip? (Yeah, we Bucky fans are a little proud out here.) Enjoy! See you soon--Winnie
How did I miss that CMA video from last year? Thanks for the find. You are the best!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you are very sweet, and my pleasure--glad you enjoyed it!
