There's a conference call scheduled from tonight's Raisin' the Bar show at Billy Bob's Texas--I'm headed out for the evening soon and might not be back in time to post the numbers, but a quick look at the Road forum at Bucky's official site (registration/membership required) indicates that things might be getting started pretty late, indeed! Chances are good that the info will turn up at Moosak (click on Bucky's name) as well as on the official forums. Happy listening, and many thanks to DiamondstarBC for graciously hosting the call. Put on a pot of coffee and enjoy the show tonight!
Bucky's just announced return to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, January 12th has caused a happy buzz and a ticket stampede. Could those of us who won't be able to get in on the show in Nashville have the option of watching it on GAC's Grand Ole Opry Live? A very kind anonymous commenter shared this bit of promising news she heard during her ticket purchase: "When I called to get tickets to the Opry Jan 12, I asked if Bucky was performing for the 6:30 or the 9:30 show. She said PROBABLY the 6:30 as that one would be televised." Sounds good to us...
And over in Salt Lake City, our friend Kellie passed along a fun note about Bucky's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"; her local country station, KSOP, has been delighting their listeners with Bucky's holiday tune. (Infomercial alert: you can buy a bit of that holiday delight for yourself at WalMart Music, where it's now available as a digital single.) Kellie also mentioned that Bucky made their Music News section, which included a TV alert I'd missed in all the excitement--Bucky's a part of this week's CMT Insider. Catch the show tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET, with two repeats on Monday. (Thank you, Kellie!)
Finally, here's a look at some beautiful concert photos from two awesome shows--the very talented Buckyroo shares two gorgeous galleries at Photobucket this weekend. Click here to enjoy her shots from Bucky's show in Greenville, and here for her great images from Coyote Joe's in Charlotte. Huge thanks to Buckyroo for the memories!
See you soon--Winnie
Gasp! Did you check out the CMT Insider lineup??? Brad Bucky and Eric.... it is like they let me control the show hee hee
ReplyDeleteLOL--nice to have three (and more!) favorites in one packed half-hour! Maybe they've been lurking at Team Covington... :)
