Covington rose to fame in 2006 as a contestant for "American Idol." Though the charmingly charismatic Covington has a great voice, he came up short after a long stint on the show. Bucky's rough style - even too rough for "Nashville Star" - kept him from winning any TV show contests, but he has built a huge following as a good ol' Southern boy.
Bucky's huge following will be out in force tonight, as the Raisin' the Bar tour gets back into full swing at the Trocaderos Night Club in Minneapolis. ReplyDeleteIt was definitely fun to see Bucky's short visit to Top 20--he and my macho turkey-frying stepbrother have something in common! (What is it with guys and deep-frying turkeys? It's like a holiday sport in the rural areas up here, I tell ya...)
Very cool to see the video on TV! Now it needs to be on that countdown... :)
