Bucky Covington, and a bit of Kansas City Sunshine...

From Kansas City's Dos Mundos newspaper comes word of a possible upcoming concert to benefit the Sunshine Center, a nonprofit United Way agency that serves children with developmental delays, fragile medical conditions and physical disabilities. The Center is currently raising funds for building renovations:

[ElizaBeth Grubb, executive director of the Sunshine Center] said they’re applying for grants, seeking contributions from corporate and individual donors, and holding fundraisers. A benefit is planned Dec. 21 at Harrah’s North Kansas City. Budding country star and “American Idol” finalist Bucky Covington will headline the benefit concert. “Watch the Web site (www.sunshinecenter.org) for ticket information,” Grubb said.

There's no word yet on the concert at Harrah's or at the Sunshine Center site just yet, but we'll keep watching...sounds like Bucky's fans in Kansas City will have a chance to enjoy a great concert and help a good cause, too! More later--Winnie
