A flash Friday post: Power Picks, Lia, ACC and more...

Thanks again, Minnie!Bucky Covington strums in the sunshine at an outdoor show in Turlock, CA earlier this spring; click here to enjoy a beautiful set of concert photos by the very kind Minnie. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

Bucky's video for "A Different World" will face a head- to-head challenge on
Friday's CMT Power Picks, which begins at 12 noon ET; click here to go directly to the Power Picks main page. Bucky's matchup will happen at the end of the show--at noon, hit the "Vote Now" button, keep that voting window open and get ready to mouse-click away...

Huge thanks to everyone for sharing news and updates in comments--you are very kind! I'm hoping my jury duty will wrap up early; if not, I'll definitely be off this weekend and will look forward to catching up on what Bucky and company have been up to these past few days...

In the meantime, let's post those handy links for the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts right up top again. Two very kind anonymous readers posted excellent chart updates in comments; one shared the Billboard stats for the week (Bucky Covington, the CD, is #15 on the Top Country Albums chart, and "A Different World" holds the #7 position on the Hot Country Songs listings--and check out that very nice jump on the Hot 100 this week!) Another gives a bit more Mediabase info: "The good news is Bucky jumped ahead in audience impressions on the weighted chart. The weighted chart is the one we want to see a #5 on." With any luck, you're seeing a #5 there this very morning. If not, keep the faith--and keep requesting "A Different World" at your favorite local and streaming country stations. And those nationally syndicated shows are also a great way to share Bucky's beautiful debut hit all over the country--Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen , Danny Wright All Night and After Midnite all take requests during the week, and they'd love to hear from you.

Speaking of Lia, Bucky will be her guest on the show this coming Thursday, so mark your calendar--and be ready for a possible request to you for your words about Bucky when you call in to request "A Different World". If your local country station doesn't carry Lia, here's a list of stations via Radiotime. (All times are Central--be sure to adjust to your time zone.)

And if you're wondering where to catch Bucky live tonight, he'll be appearing with Sawyer Brown at the big WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Bucky's concert schedule is available at his official site --be sure to bookmark that page and make plans to see Bucky, Rocky, Shaun, Hans and Don when they're in your hometown.

Finally, another pair of tips via two generous commenters--the American Country Countdown podcast from the 7/31 show (Bucky was a guest) is now posted at the ACC Top 40 site; and the newly-updated Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands is a must-visit, as always.

Thanks for the tips, y'all! Hope to be off the jury and back at full speed very soon--until then, have a fabulous Friday...
