Today's the day!

Grab some popcorn, disconnect the phone, and snuggle into your favorite chair...Bucky Covington's "A Different World" music video officially premieres today on CMT's Top 20 Countdown at 4 p.m. ET today, with several repeats this weekend. Watch early and often, then come back here and let us know what you think about Bucky's very first video extravaganza. (There's also bound to be a big party goin' on at Bucky's CMT boards later today...)

If you can't catch it on television, the clip will be posted online at CMT.com any moment now eventually (there's a video link from Bucky's profile there--keep trying) and at YahooMusic tomorrow. YahooMusic also has a rating option, as well as message boards and a fan list. Of course, you can enter a write-in vote for Bucky's at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too; scroll down to the bottom of the voting page for the e-mail link.

A few online updates: the recently expanded Shows section at Bucky's official MySpace now features TV, radio and live listings--definitely a page to bookmark for all the latest on Bucky's busy schedule. And Kathy's beautiful Team Covington blog has had a gorgeous makeover. Dig that snazzy layout!

Finally--but importantly!--a reminder about radio--Bucky really needs our "good phones" this week. If your local station played "A Different World" for the first time recently, give them a call and let them know you liked it and want to hear it again. And if they didn't, give them a call and let them know you'd like to hear it! Even if the answer is "not yet", our calls are extremely important right now. (For a more detailed look at exactly why this is true, please read our "everything you wanted to know about requesting post" from a few days ago.) It's not necessary to spam radio stations with calls--one polite and friendly request or thank-you call per person, per station, per day is a good rule of thumb. But that one call could make all the difference in the world in the next seven days. (A personal note: those of you who've met me know how incredibly shy I am in real life--but I still pick up the phone and call. Shy Bucky fans, unite! As Bucky said during Idol, "Help a brother out.")
