An Elliott buddy just told me his deal with Sony is for publishing right now but a deal is coming and he hopes to have a CD out around Valentines Day.

ReplyDeleteJust a note about radio stations here (because I don't know where else to put it) K102 in Minnesota is a HOOOOGE Clear Channel country station. I actually broke down the other day and did something that I generally never do - I requested Bucky's song via email. Just because I thought it would be cool to hear it on a local station and the other side is that it helps his airplay out as well. I never did hear back from them but they do offer online listening - it might be a good one to request at. If he makes it on there, it would be a major coup.

ReplyDeleteWell you might try tuning into Beyond the Buzz on sirius radio (it is on at 12EST tonight) or catch the 6pm EST 30 minute countdown show on WKLM. There is a free sign-up for sirius at sirius.com and check out: http://www.wkml.com too. Happy listening!

Your best bet this evening is to try to catch "Different World" on the "Top 5 at 6" countdown on , which offers online streaming; that show begins at 6 pm Eastern. It's also on the country playlists at XM and Sirius satellite radio, and both services also offer online listening and free trial periods.
ReplyDeleteAnd as always, requesting it at your local country FM station is highly recommended! Chances are that if it isn't on the playlist there yet, it will be soon.
