Quick radio update, 1/10

Bucky Covington at the American Idol finale afterparty in May; photo posted by request. Thanks for writing!

Edited to add a newsflash from the Fox boards; according to a kind fan on this thread, Bucky will be interviewed on tomorrow's morning show at WSOC 103.7 in Charlotte at about 8:10 am ET. This station streams online, so put on a pot of coffee and listen in! Stay tuned for more details...

Tonight's "Top 5 at 6" on WKML is still accepting your requests; be sure to ask for Bucky Covington's "Different World" with a quick email to country @wkml.com, then listen online tonight at 6 ET to see if Bucky reclaims his Number One spot...

(Updated with results: Bucky's Number One at WKML again--huge thanks to everyone who requested tonight! Another bit of news from the show--the interview with Bucky that aired on this morning's Don Chase show is now posted on the station's podcast page for your enjoyment.)

And in Rochester, "Different World" is the champion in the WBEE 92.5 "Test Track" challenge--will Bucky keep his winning streak going? You can listen in online at about 7:30 ET, then make a local call to 585-222-WBEE, or vote online shortly after 7:30 by clicking the "Megan Carter" link on the site's home page to reach the online poll. The winner will be announced at about 8:45 or so--tune in and cheer Bucky across the finish line!

And finally, starting this week, Sirius subscribers get to enjoy a special treat; every Wednesday at midnight ET, Sirius New Country (Channel 60) will be rebroadcasting the previous Sunday's two-hour "Beyond the Buzz" show. "Beyond the Buzz" offers "the absolute newest country music anywhere". Bucky's "Different World", along with some very positive on-air feedback, was a highlight of last week's program--and you can enjoy it all over again late tonight. If you're not a Sirius subscriber, check out the "free online trial" link at the top right of the New Country page, and join the fun.

Edited yet again to add a heads-up for our Southern California lurkers--Bucky's single was part of Tuesday's "Song Meeting" at KRTY 95.3 in San Jose. There's a poll on the left lower side of the station's home page with five songs listed; "Different World" is among them. If you'd like to hear Bucky on KRTY, head over there now and let your opinion be known...

More soon!
