Blu is back from the Roanoke Rapids GAC tour finale, and she's got a fantastic long and detailed review posted at her MySpace blog; she and her family had a sweet time volunteering for World Vision, enjoying the show, and greeting Bucky. She also shares this interesting "Different World" news from Bucky and Scott Reeves' stage conversation last night:
Scott says something about it going number one and Bucky says it should be due out by January, but that there is a good possibility that it will start playing on Sirius [satellite radio] this weekend.
At this writing, we're not sure if that "good possibility" is now a definite thing, or even which of the many country channels you lucky Sirius subscribers should listen to when it is (although Channel 60, New Country, sounds like a safe bet). But we do believe that that dream of flying down the freeway with Bucky Covington on the radio is closer to coming true every day...
Just wow. Thanks so much, Blu, for sharing your enchanted evening!
More later...
Sweet! I get Sirius through my dish, so I'll have to keep an ear out for that.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Merry Christmas (or Craxmas if you will) to you Winnie and thanks for the super aweshum Bucky blog.
Awww...thanks GES! And Merry Craxmas to you, too. ;) Enjoy Bucky on Sirius; hoping "Different World" will be the first of many Covingtonian radio delights over the years...
ReplyDeleteGot home from a last minute Walmart run and Yippee pics! She got great shots! Drat no Sirius! Knew I should have gotten Ira that for Xmas lol
ReplyDeleteLOL! Sirius makes a great gift--I sound like a commercial. (This is still a non-profit blog!) Did you notice that they have a three-day free internet radio trial at their site? Tempting... :)
ReplyDeleteReally????????? hee hee
ReplyDeleteHey Winnie! Thanks for linking my reviews and pics! You are more than welcome to use any of the pictures!
ReplyDeleteBren, thank you so much! You really captured some wonderful moments. Merry Christmas to you and your family! :)
