Jingle bell rock...

This beautiful blue "Different World" banner was created by Tracy; "Stronger Than Ever" is a good way of describing what's sure to be a very exciting 2007 for Bucky--and for us! Thanks, Tracy--you can check out more of her stunning art and graphics at her MySpace.

It's a pretty silent night for all but the lucky people who were at Rocky Covington's show in Albemarle this evening, but there's still a little fun to be found while we wind down for the holidays:

The very kind dbrosch passed along some great links this evening--here are two partial snippets of Bucky singing "Different World" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" in Salem, VA a few nights ago. (Thanks to buckywild08 for sharing these fun clips--sure sounds like Bucky and the audience had a good time...)

And if you'd like to have even more of a good time with the GAC concert, why not let the channel know about it? Great American Country has a "Question of the Week" form on their website; "Can we see more of the GAC Christmas concert?" was Deb's question, and I'm guessing she's not alone in wanting the whole show on the air. (The first non-holiday half would be a good separate special of its own, come to think of it, and it'd be fun to hear and see all of those lovely acoustic performances--as well as the gentle, funny ribbing between Julie, Deana, Scott, Aaron, Steve and Bucky--on GAC, as I'm sure all the artists' fans would agree.) Hey, never hurts to ask...

Finally, even though we're right smack dab in the middle of the holidays, it's never too early to think about summer travel season--and for a lot of Bucky's fans, last spring and summer's highlights were the Bucky Bash and the Rocky Rally in Rockingham. There's been an online petition to make it an annual event for some time now--perhaps it's time to revisit that appealing idea?

(Big thanks again to dbrosch for the very cool links.)

More later...have a great Saturday!
