While Bucky and his family (and you and yours) are preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday, here's a little bit of fun for a Tuesday afternoon coffee break...
Bucky may be taking some well-earned quiet time, but many talented Covington fans with cameras are still busy sharing memories; if you haven't yet seen Happydays' great shots of Bucky on stage with Sawyer Brown during the recent Concord and Pikeville shows, be sure to pop in and enjoy; then head to her brand new Photobucket album full of photos from last Friday's Rocky Covington and Swamp Cat show. (My4frogs also graciously shared some fantastic photos and videos of Rocky and Scooter from that wild night; big thanks to y'all for capturing the fun!)
As we mentioned yesterday, Daughtry's album is available today in stores and online; we're confident that this is the first of many hit CDs by the men of the Season 5 Idol "Rat Pack". Taylor Hicks' debut CD is set for a 12/15 release date--head to MJ's Big Blog for lots of links to more info and a little sample. (Sounds good!) . In other music news, CMT will be re-running the CMA awards on Thanksgiving Day--so if you missed the live broadcast, here's your chance to enjoy Kellie Pickler's fun turn as a presenter and Carrie Underwood's triumphant wins.
And if you're as eager as I am for the day when we Bucky Covington fans get to throw the "new release" confetti, here's another blast from the recent past that deserves revisiting--watch that beautiful Fox 8 piece on Bucky's upcoming album once again, and savor the sweet possibilities. Will Simon Cowell, bless his heart, have to munch on a little more humble pie this year? He's already sitting down to a big dish of it after Jennifer Hudson's rave reviews for Dreamgirls. Something tells me--and quite a few other Bucky Covington supporters--it'll be a familiar treat for Mr. Cowell as the year goes on... (Via MJ's, with thanks.)
More later!
