Odds and ends...

Thanks, Honeygirl!
Another great shot from the October 13th Hugo's show by Honeygirl--thanks for sharing these!

Just a quick sweep around the scene for a peaceful Friday night:

Remember that wild Country Weekly online survey from a while back? Well, a kind fan at the Fox boards reports that the issue on your newsstand this week carries the results--a whopping 89% of survey respondents are interested in buying Bucky's CD. (Congratulations, y'all!) The poster also says that the blurb features a cartoon of Bucky in a shopping cart pushed by an "older lady"--guess we'll have to wait until his first single is a hit before we see Bucky's photo in Country Weekly, but a cartoon's a fun way to start. And seeing the demand for his CD right there in black-and-white print is a fine addition to the buzz we spoke of in the last post. There's one major magazine that now knows Bucky's got some passionate fans...

If you haven't been to the excellent Carolina Music Men site in a while, now's a good time to stop in--both Bucky and Rocky's pages there have been updated recently with terrific new photos, including some great shots from last weekend's Hugo's rave-up. (Be sure to check out the rest of the site, too--it's a great resource for information about the regional music scene.)

Speaking of Rocky, here's a fun way to keep up with his latest happenings--you can sign up for his brand new newsletter at RockyCovington.com's Contact page. (With Rocky, Bucky and Sammy headed for Nashville soon, you won't want to miss a thing...so head over there now and stay in the loop.)

And finally, if you're feeling a little taste of withdrawal symptoms after all the excitement last week, you're not alone. Guess we'll have to hang in there for a little while longer...but who knows what next week might bring? Stay tuned...

More soon--have a great night!
