It's a serene Saturday, and a kind fan at the Fox boards has wrapped the past week's news so beautifully that I'll just send you there. So for today's coffee break post, how about a little random sampling of Bucky Covington-related links?
A few days ago, we found a great snap of Bucky at a NASCAR event this spring, but I don't think this fun photo of Mr. and Mrs. Covington with comedian Lee Roy Mercer ever got a link here. (Scroll down to bottom of page and click to view full size--looks like everyone had a good time!) And here's an old photo you've seen many times before, but the category the site had it under was so cute that it deserved a screencap just for fun...And if you're a fan on the go (or a fan at work for whom the photo-intensity here at Buckymania might be a bit of a problem) there's a quick and easy way to keep up with the latest blog, Google and Yahoo news on Bucky's career--bookmark this handy Watchr.com page, where blog posts and news articles on Bucky are gathered for your convenience, image-free. (But don't forget to stop in at Team Covington and here, too--we'd miss you.)
Saturday's great for shopping--and if you're in the market for an officially-authorized Bucky T-shirt, BSTees still has you covered--the "Sweet Tea and Biscuits", "Richmond County Idol" (I own this one, and might grab another--it's a well-made shirt), and two varieties of "Bucky On Tour" designs are still available. Wearing them during the current lull is a great way of showing a little support...
Two ex-Idols, tall, slim and talented young men from North Carolina--granted, their musical styles couldn't be more different, but it looks as though there was a nice bit of overlap in their fan bases, after all. (Perhaps there still is?)
And finally, a great destination we somehow missed putting into the sidebar (it'll be there shortly)--the fun and colorful Damia's Place site for Bucky (on tech hold as of this writing, but try the sidebar link later) also has an accompanying Yahoo Group that looks pretty lively. Be sure to check it out!
