Quick update (and a few photo links) , 9/27

It feels so strange today, doesn't it? No concert updates, no cellcerts, no major news, just a calm, serene break after a job well done. (Famous last words; now that I've typed that, I wonder if there'll be a capital-A Announcement today? Hmmm...) Bucky's fans at the official boards have been busy, though--there's a sweet "welcome home" thread happening now, as Bucky takes some family-and-friends (and Blu-and-Slim) time back in Rockingham, and a cute tribute thread is in progress as well.

MJ of MJ's Big Blog has posted a terrific Wilkes-Barre recap, with lots of photos and media and a bit of keen wistfulness, too. (Guess we're all feeling post-tour pangs of nostalgia today...)

Over at Idolforums, BigTayFan has posted handy links to all her media from the Wilkes-Barre show--a fun way to check out the last concert in style! A kind IDF poster shares some media from the Providence show here--photos from the Idol singers' arrival on the buses, many Katharine McPhee videos, and a recap of her meet and greet. There are also three pre-show videos of Bucky at the Bridgeport venue (among many other clips) shared by yet another talented Kat fan in this thread. Finally, this post from a lucky lady who went to the Austin show is a nice treat--she posted three albums at Yahoo, including some great shots from Antone's. Enjoy!

It's fun looking back, but it's even more exciting to comtemplate Bucky's musical future. What's up the road? Bucky's kind wife Crystal popped into the support thread at the Fox boards on the 25th to let the fans know he'd flown out to Nashville for a "meeting" before returning home--"another day closer 'til Bucky's CD comes out", she said. (How cool is that?) We're back to waiting for news, of course, but it's fun to get an encouraging word from Mrs. Covington--any combination of "Bucky", "meeting" and "Nashville" sounds pretty good to us...

More soon--stay tuned!

Oh the lull is gonna be rough. :O

To past the time...how about a guess the date of the label annoucement game? Oh and maybe the release date of the debut album too? :)

  2. Hee! Sounds like a good idea to me...anything to pass the time until our group hug when Bucky makes his announcement. Hmm. Maybe there should be a prize? :)

(I miss the concerts already--but I'm glad the singers finally get some time off! It was way too long a tour.)
