Aside from some plans for get-togethers at the big Bucky Bash on Saturday (guess I'll have to settle for being there in spirit, only--have fun, y'all!) a little sticker shock discussion about concert ticket fees, and a bit of American Idol history (via MJ's Big Blog), there's just not much to blog about this early Monday morning. But as we all know by now, that can change in a heartbeat...
If you're into countdowns, it'll be about 23 days until we get to see Bucky on the Idol stage again; the finale airs May 23rd and 24th, and a number of local Fox affiliates are giving away trips to the big show in Los Angeles. Fox 19 in Cincinnati has one more chance to enter this week (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana residents, you're eligible); WRBC in Birmingham is running one for Alabama residents (scroll down to "Secret Idol Words"), and Fox 51 KFXL in Texas has one here. (And the Just My Luck sweepstakes is open to all US residents, of course. Maybe it'll be just your luck to see Bucky rockin' it live at the finale.)
