Ticket alert: Bucky Covington at Coyote Countryfest, August 18th in Las Vegas, and a Country for Coaches update...

Another California concert memory:  Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington on stage in Stockton, as captured by the very kind Minnie.  Thanks again!  Bucky returns to California for a show tomorrow evening; see post below for details, and click here to see when Bucky and his band will be rockin' a stage near you.

Bucky Covington will be part of the fun at this year's KCYE 102.7 Coyote Countryfest at the Orleans Arena (4500 West Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas, NV) on August 18th.  He and fellow Idol alum Lauren Alaina will support headliner Ronnie Dunn, and tickets are on sale now--get yours online or call 702-284-7777 to order by phone.  (Be sure to follow the station's Twitter for news on how you can win your tickets, too...)

NorCal Country reports that tomorrow night's 101.9 the Wolf Country for Coaches benefit concert in Woodland, CA is very nearly sold out!  The money raised from the show will help fund coaching stipends for the Woodland Joint Unified School District, and the needs are urgent.  Kip Moore, Jon Pardi, Due West, and Matt Gary will be there, too--the music gets underway at 6 pm local time with a set by Matt Gary, followed by Bucky.  Seats may still be available at Brown Paper Tickets, but if they're all gone by the time you read this, a very limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $35.

Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", has been added to a couple of new stations in the last week:  if your local country station's not among them,  call 'em up and let them know you'd like to hear it in your town, too!  We're looking forward to the next chart updates, but for now...yep, you guessed it, vote for Bucky at GAC and CMT Pure by clicking those handy buttons at the top right.  We'll see you soon!

A little night music: Bucky Covington live in Stockton...

From his first hit ("A Different World") to his current smash "I Wanna Be That Feeling", there's nothing like the distinctive (and very cool) voice of Bucky Covington! This video was taken during his recent show in Stockton, CA; to find out where he and his band will be performing next, bookmark his events calendar at eOne.  Thanks to for posting this one at YouTube.

A little bit of news for a very late evening:

The Tallahatchie Riverfest site has been updated, and Bucky Covington's picture now graces the home page.  He and his band will be the headliners on Saturday night, September 22nd, and they'll take the Bob Johnson Memorial Stage at 8 pm.  If you'd like to enjoy the best seat in the house--literally!--be sure to stop by the the UCDA stand at the fest and the "Best Seat in the House" contest sponsored by Kevin Charles Furniture.  From the site: "We'll sit you right up front with a comfy couch from Kevin Charles so you won't miss a bit of the big concert on Saturday night!"  Sounds like fun...

A couple of Bucky's upcoming events are already sold out (the Fan Club party is full, and the GAC Lodge contest ended earlier today), but it looks like tickets are still available for the big Celebrity Go-Go benefit for Hear the Music Live on June 5th.   Registration for the events is open now at the Celebrity Go-Go site, and Idol favorites Bo Bice, Melinda Doolittle and Josh Gracin are among the many stars on hand for this event.   Have fun, meet some generous celebrities, and help out a great cause!

Speaking of helping, Bucky and Help the Good Guys are committed to helping firefighters and law enforcement officers in times of need, and the new Help The Good Guys Presents Bucky Covington  CD is a fantastic way of supporting a fine charity and enjoying some fine music, too. (Check out that tracklist--lots of your live favorites are included...)

We'll close with a reminder to vote for Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and let your local country DJ know you'd like to hear him as well.  We'll be back tomorrow--enjoy the evening!

Another excellent Iowa Speedway concert shot by the very generous Judy Lang--thanks again, Judy!  Click here to check out Bucky Covington's tour dates at his official site.

Just a quick reminder or two:

Entries must be received by noon ET on May 30, 2012 (tomorrow!) and we hope you'll be among those enjoying the Lodge up close...

Bucky's next adventure is a benefit show with a stellar lineup--he and Kip Moore, Due West and Jon Pardi, along with newly-added performer Matt Gary, will be the stars of 101.9 The Wolf's Country for Coaches benefit at the Yolo County Fairgrounds Arena (1250 East Gum Ave in Woodland, CA) on June 1stSeats are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets, and if any are left over, they'll be $35 at the door.  According to the Country for Coaches Facebook page, Bucky will be visiting two local schools on the day of the show--sounds like a sweet treat for the students!

Bucky's video for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" has been added to the media player at Y'allWire:  the introduction is fun ("Heartthrob country artist Bucky Covington heads out for a flirtatious summer day") and the video, of course, is a joy to watch.  Give it a rating (and/or a comment) there, then feel free to join us in voting for Bucky at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack today and every day.  We'll see you tomorrow!

Quick Monday news: Bucky Covington at Celebrity Go Go, Wild Bills, "vintage" photos, 8 Man Jam shots and more...

Some rockin' sunshine on a cloudy day: Rocky Covington, Bucky Covington and Kevin Wood get the crowd revved up in this great concert shot by the very kind Judy Lang, taken at the Iowa Speedway last week.  For your chance to enjoy Bucky and his band live and loud, click here.

Today we honor our brave men and women in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice--our thoughts and prayers are with our military families this Memorial Day.

Our very good friend Fran at Buckytown USA is on it!  Many thanks to her for keeping us all informed this and every weekend; here's a quick rundown of all the exciting news she shared:

Bucky Covington and his band have a few new opportunities to rock your world live coming up:  they'll return to Wild Bills Atlanta on Friday, June 22nd for a mega-hot night of music.  Tickets are $15 in advance for general admission,  $25 for a seat at a table and $50 side stage seats.  Snag yours right now at Ticketmaster.

Also coming up:  Bucky and the Lost Trailers will be the stars of the Kix 106 Smokin' Summer Showcase at the Snowden Grove Amphitheater in Memphis on July 5th.  This one's free, and the station is offering a chance for you to win Gold Circle tickets--click here for the entry form, and good luck!

And for those of you lucky enough to be in or near Music City in early June, you'll have yet another chance to say "hello" to Bucky when he and fellow favorites Bo Bice, Melinda Doolittle and Josh Gracin (among many others!) meet on June 5th for Celebrity Go-Go, a benefit for Hear the Music Live. This non-profit organization works to give opportunities to foster youth, so you'll be doing good while going head-to-head with celebrity drivers in a series of mini-races.  There's also a Mini Golf Challenge the same day (participants will be playing in a foursome with a randomly-selected celeb) and a post-event barbecue party.  Register for one or both events at the Celebrity Go-Go site, and hurry--space
is very limited.

Thanks again to Judy Lang for this terrific photo of Rocky Covington at the drums during the Iowa Speedway show last week.

We'll close with a link to some cool "vintage" concert photos that just hit the Flickr-sphere:  thanks to CoolCat433 for sharing these shots from Bucky's show with Joe Nichols in Fredricksburg, MD a couple of years back.   Newer photos?  Y108's got you covered with this great gallery from last week's 8 Man Jam.

As always, a nag...um, "reminder" is in order:  please vote for Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack every day, and request it at your local country radio station.  We'll see you here tomorrow--have a great night!

A programming note...

Unfortunately, I'm stuck on the road with wobbly internet access yet again--please check back tomorrow for a weekend update and (we hope!) a full weekend preview post. Apologies! We'll update via Twitter (see sidebar) as often as possible.  Take care, and vote for Bucky, y'all!

Bucky Covington at The Lodge by HGTV/GAC during CMA Fest, Saturday June 9th (and more!)

A blast from the past:  Bucky Covington smiles for the cameras during the Fan Fair hall event at his very first CMA Fest, June 2007.  (Photo by the very kind Aaron Crisler of MusicCityUpdate.com--thanks!)

A CD for a cause, and a roundup of Bucky Covington concert reminders...

Another perspective on that Iowa Speedway National Anthem, courtesy of the multi-talented Judy Lang--thanks again, Judy!

It's been a peaceful day so far (knock wood!) but we do have a few Bucky Covington concert tidbits to pass along this evening...

If you're lucky enough to have won tickets to Thursday's Y108's 8-Man Jam at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Scott Mervis of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has a little glimpse into the format of the acoustic show at his blog today.  He writes: "The artists will appear acoustically in sets of four and then jam on stage together with songs that they have made famous. All eight will gather for the finale."  And if you haven't managed to win your tickets, there's still a little time--the station will be giving them away through Thursday at 7 and 9 a.m., and at 1 and 5 p.m.  Good luck!

After that, the (new) bus rolls out West to join Kip Moore, Due West and Jon Pardi for 101.9 The Wolf's Country for Coaches benefit at the Yolo County Fairgrounds Arena (1250 East Gum Ave in Woodland, CA) on June 1stSeats are available online now at Brown Paper Tickets--and they're said to be going fast.

If you won't be at Bucky's next couple of shows, you can still enjoy his music and help out a worthy cause at the same time-- Bucky's Facebook posted a reminder about the now-available Help The Good Guys Presents Bucky Covington  CD.  Help the Good Guys raises awareness,  support and immediate financial help for firefighters, law enforcement officers and their families who are experiencing difficulties due to injury, illness, or death in the line of duty.  Bucky has been busy doing benefits and appearances as their official spokesman.  (He's got lots more charitable events on the horizon--see his schedule for details.)

We'll close with a gentle, repetitive nudge:  please vote for Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and give your local country station a nudge on the request line, too.  We'll be back soon--enjoy the evening!

Add Bucky Covington to your custom lineup at CMA Fest...

Bucky Covington photo by Kristin Barlowe. (Monarch Publicity)

Here's a fun bit of social goodness from the official CMA Fest website--did you know that you can use Facebook to add Bucky Covington to your own custom lineup this year?  His CMA Fest profile page is here, and so far 37 fans have added him to their lineups--but I'm guessing a lot, lot more are going to be cheering for him in Nashville during Fest week this year!  To add your name to the list of Bucky's fans, hit the "Add Band" button on his page while you're logged into Facebook, and you'll be good to go.

Bucky and his band will perform at the Bud Light Stage at Bridgestone Arena Plaza on Saturday, June 9th at 5 pm. Have fun at the Fest, and say hi to Bucky for us!--W

Quick news: Bucky Covington sings the National Anthem, new shows out West and more...

Bucky Covington sang the National Anthem at the Iowa Speedway this past Sunday; many thanks to Bucky for sharing this (and so much more!) on his official YouTube channel.

Our very good blogger-buddy Fran at Buckytown USA posted good news about two brand new Bucky Covington summer concert dates, and his fans out West have every reason to smile!  He and his band will perform at the Springs Spree in Colorado Springs on June 16th,  and they'll rock the Kings Fair in Hanford, CA on July 7th.  (She's also got a link to some terrific concert shots by Happydays, taken at last week's Clarksville date--happy browsing!)

Rocky Covington at the drums in Stockton, CA; thanks again to the very kind Minnie for sharing this shot.

Speaking of concert photos, there's a terrific album at the Brat Stop's Facebook--over the weekend, they posted a huge collection of shots from last week's show, and if you were near the front of the crowd, chances are good that you'll see yourself there, as well...

Seeing Bucky's beautiful music video for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack is getting easier every week!  Simply click those links (or hit those handy buttons at the top right) and join the fun.

Bucky's next show is happening on  May 24th in Pittsburgh at the Rivers Casino, when Y108's 8-Man Jam brings Bucky and Casey James together again on the same stage, along with Phil Vassar, Craig Morgan, Josh Thompson, James Wesley, Thomas Rhett and Joe Grushecky. Keep listening to Y108 for tickets!  They'll be given away during the 7AM, 9AM, 1PM and 5PM hours.  We'll be back tomorrow evening--see you soon!

Quick weekend preview: Bucky Covington at the Warehouse Friday night, Iowa Speedway Sunday, a chart check and more...

Our very gracious Twitter friend Kimberly (aka @msBuckyfan) captured this awesome action shot at Bucky Covington's recent show in Birmingham--click here to find out when he and his band are bringing the party your way.  Thanks again for sharing the fun, Kimberly!  See more of her great shots at Flickr.

CMT.com reports that Bucky Covington will be among the country stars riding in the CMA Fest Kick-Off Parade, which begins at about 11 am on June 6th in downtown Nashville.  Legend Glen Campbell is this year's Grand Marshall, and the parade will be followed by a free block party at 12:30 p.m. at the Riverfront stage.  (The block party stars Little Big Town, Brazilbilly, Eric Lee Beddingfield and the LoCash Cowboys--a fine start to a great Fest!)

This weekend's off to a fine start, too--enjoy Bucky and his band tonight at The Warehouse (20 McClure Street in Clarksville, TN ) with Chelsea Bain, Last Night's Whiskey, Jackson Alley and a full night of rockin' country delights.  Tickets will be $15 at the door--hope you're among the happy crowd this Friday evening.

And while we're at it, here's a reminder about Sunday's pre-race performance at the  Iowa Speedway, where Bucky will get things going before the Pioneer Hi-Bred 250. Check  Ticketmaster now for race and show tickets, and be there for the ride.

Another beautiful trade ad by eOne--Bucky's new single is rockin' the radio!  Click the image to see his music video at GAC.

Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling" , is riding the Music Row Country Breakout Chart at #49 for the second straight week.  (Yep, I did report it at #47 here last week, and I'm almost positive my eyes weren't fooling me then, but today's chart lists it as #49 for two weeks in a row...so I'm goin' with that, y'all.  It's definitely in the Top 50--we know that for sure!)   The beautiful music video for the song is climbing the charts on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and we hope it's climbing your local country station's charts, as well. (If not, hit those request lines and let them know you want to hear it!)

We'll be back on Monday--our good friend Fran at Buckytown USA will be along with photos, news and more this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.  Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

Calling all fan photographers: Bucky Covington wants you!

Our very kind friend Minnie shared this great photo of Bucky Covington on stage at the Stockton Asparagus Festival in California; major thanks to her for her generosity. Bucky returns to California in June for a show in the Woodland area--see post below for details, and click here to find out when he and his band are coming to your town.

Bucky Covington knows he's got a lot of talented camera-carrying fans--and he's put out a call on his Facebook that'll definitely put a smile on their faces.  Here's the scoop straight from the page:

Got a crazy idea here....I need your own personal photos of me (either performing, fan pics, etc.) to help put in the album package.....send your best pics to covingtonbucky@gmail.com with the subject line ALBUM ART and include your name so you can get listed in the credits in the package....I will try and get as many included as possible - but be sure the pics are yours to send - so no copyrighted images you got on the internet. Let's see what you got!

Sounds like fun-- and heaven knows he'll have a lot to choose from!

You might want to bring a camera to Woodland, CA on June 1st, when Bucky joins fellow country stars Kip Moore, Due West and Jon Pardi for 101.9 The Wolf's Country for Coaches benefit show. This concert will raise funds for 7th-12th grade athletic coaches in the Woodland Joint Unified School District, and it's happening at the Yolo County Fairgrounds Arena (1250 East Gum Ave in Woodland).  According to the info posted at Brown Paper Tickets, the doors will open at 5 or so and Bucky will take the stage first at about 6:30 pm.  Buy your $20 tickets online now right here; if there are any left over seats on the day of the show, they'll be $35 at the door.

Finally,  Bucky tweeted a gracious "thank you" to all who helped vote his sunny video for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" onto the GAC Top 20 Country Countdown chart last week...and we'd love to keep that ball rolling!  Show Bucky some ballot love at GAC and at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, too--and feel free to hit your local country station's request line and ask for his new hit, as well.  Be back very soon!

Video: Bucky Covington's "I Wanna Be That Feeling" live and acoustic in Birmingham and more...

Thanks to 102.5 The Bull in Birmingham for letting us all enjoy a taste of that winners-only luncheon concert last week--here's Bucky Covington and Ducky Medlock performing Bucky's new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling" live at WDXB's Bull Lounge.  (For more chances to see and hear Bucky live, click here.)

Bucky Covington and his band are enjoying a little stretch of semi-quiet time before their next big show on Friday night, when they'll rock The Warehouse  (20 McClure Street in Clarksville, TN; call 931-647-ROCK for more info) , but there's plenty of excitement to be had now on the request lines and video voting polls!  (Ahem.)  Feel free to join us over at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and let your local country station know how you feel about Bucky's beautiful new song.

Bucky's got a busy end-of-May coming up--in addition to that Warehouse stop, he'll be performing at the Iowa Speedway on Sunday, May 20th for a morning pre-race concert. Tickets for the Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 are available online at Ticketmaster now.  Bucky and Casey James share lots of mutual fans--and on May 24th at Rivers Casino, they'll share a stage when Y108 presents the 8-Man Jam in Pittsburgh, PA.  Your chance to listen and win tickets happens weekdays in the 7AM, 9AM, 1PM and 5PM hours, so if you're in the area, keep it locked on Y108!

Apologies for the light posting--offline life has been a little hectic this week.  I'll be back ASAP--thanks for stopping in, and have a great evening!--W

Bucky Covington and the numbers game, plus a few concert reminders...

Many thanks to the mega-talented Judy Lang for sharing this great shot of Kevin Wood (left), Bucky Covington and Scott Tweten (right) from this past weekend's show in Germantown, IL.  For your next chance to enjoy Bucky and his band live, be sure to bookmark his events calendar at eOne.

If you're into numbers, today's your lucky day--Bucky Covington's lookin' good on the numerical front, with new radio stations playing his hot single, and a strong debut on the video charts, too! "I Wanna Be That Feeling" (available at iTunes) was added to six new stations' playlists, according to Country Aircheck, and the beautiful video for the song debuted at #19 on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and at #9 on CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack over the weekend. We'll keep requesting, we'll keep voting, and we'll enjoy watching this one rack up some positive numbers as the week rolls on...

Another numbers game:  the CMA Fest Fan Fair Hall drawing is underway, and here's hoping your lucky number gets drawn for tickets.  Here are the details straight from CMA:

  • There are two ways you can enter - either by yourself, or with a friend! Note that if you enter with a friend and are drawn as a winner, you both will win tickets to that artist signing.
  • The online entry process starts today with Round 1 (featuring more than 110 artists!). As more artists are confirmed, we will open Round 2 with the newly-confirmed artists. We'll alert you when the Round 2 entry form is ready. Only booths that utilize a ticket system are reflected in the drawing.
  • MANY booths inside the Fan Fair Hall will feature autograph signings that do not require a ticket. Fans are able to simply walk up and get in line at these booths.

Confused?  Me, too, to be honest, but if you're lucky enough to be headed out to the Fest, don't let confusion get in the way of your chance to snag your space.  Click here to enter on your own, and here to enter with a friend--good luck!  Bucky and his band will perform at the Bud Light Stage at Bridgestone Arena Plaza on Saturday, June 9th at 5pm.

Bucky's next show is bound to be a party, too--he and his band are set to play The Warehouse  (20 McClure Street in Clarksville, TN; call 931-647-ROCK for more info) at 8:00 pm this Friday, May 18th with Chelsea Bain.

Finally, if you missed Fran's awesome weekend posts at Buckytown USA, head on over there now--she's got stunning concert photos by Judy Lang and Happydays, and links to lots more good stuff.  We'll be back tomorrow--see you soon!

Bucky Covington and his band have a busy weekend ahead (and an even busier week of bus-shopping coming up, no doubt!)  Catch them live and loud this weekend at the following two concert stops:

Tonight (5/11), Bucky and his band will bring the party to Flatland Rocks  (1311 Lake Park Drive in Germantown, IL); doors open at 8 pm, with the Jim Miller Band getting the music going at about 9.  Entry is a very reasonable $15 at the door--hope you'll be there!

Saturday night, the fun moves to the Brat Stop (12304 75th St. in Kenosha, WI), where Bucky and his band will be supported by opening act Bella Cain.  This is a 21 and over show, and tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of show and at the door.

Bucky's hot new single,  "I Wanna Be That Feeling"  (you may have heard us mention it a time or two!) has a stunning, sunny music video, a growing list of radio stations playing it on the air, and ballot spots on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack. All it needs now is a little love from me and you!  Be sure to vote for Bucky's video by clicking those buttons at top right, ask for it by name at your local country station, and check here for your next opportunity to hear Bucky and his band perform it live at a show near you.

We were going to update later with a look at the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, but it's already posted and the news is good!  Bucky's "I Wanna be That Feeling" moved up to the #47 spot (from last week's #49), and our good friend Fran at Buckytown USA may have some more chart news via Mediabase for us soon.  She'll definitely have this weekend's hottest updates, photos and more this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning--see you there, and have a great weekend, y'all!

News: Bucky Covington's tour bus involved in accident (via Cullman Times, with updates from a local fan)

This article from CullmanTimes.com tells the story of a collision between Bucky Covington's tour bus and a truck on I-65 earlier today:
According to initial reports from the scene, the truck was involved in an accident with a tour bus carrying members of country music artist and former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington’s band. No one was injured on the tour bus according to witnesses on the scene.
....

According to a person on the scene identifying himself as the band’s bass player, Covington was on his way to Birmingham for a show at the Tin Roof tonight. He also stated Covington was uninjured and had already left for a radio interview in Birmingham.

The truck driver was transported to a local hospital, and a very kind Covington fan who lives nearby filled us in on some key details.  She says that Bucky and Ducky Medlock were playing a "listen and win" lunchtime set for lucky radio listeners and were not on the bus at the time of the accident, that Rocky Covington is currently sporting a taped ankle, and that his lovely wife Terra is also suffering an injured ankle and has arrived at the Tin Roof with crutches.  (Here's wishing everyone involved the speediest or recoveries!)  We'll update as soon as more info crosses the wires.

In the meantime, the show is going on as scheduled--Bucky and Sean Rivers will entertain the crowd at the Tin Roof in Birmingham tonight (directions here) and this free, all ages evening of music might start a wee bit late (understandably), but if you're local, you ought to be there!  Tomorrow night, Bucky and his band will play Flatland Rocks  (1311 Lake Park Drive in Germantown, IL).  Tickets are $12 in advance at Showclix, or $15 at the door.  Back ASAP--huge thanks to our friend for the updates from home!

Edited to add the official word from Bucky Covington's Facebook:

PRESS RELEASE - BUCKY COVINGTON'S BUS INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT

Nashville, TN…(May 10, 2012)...Bucky Covington's tour bus was involved in an accident today on I-65 in Birmingham, AL while out for a run of tour dates. Covington had already been dropped off for an earlier appearance that day and was not onboard at the time of the accident. At this time, there appear to be no serious injuries in either vehicle, although a few passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for further examination.

Tonight's show and this weekend's dates in Germantown, Illinois (5/11) and Kenosha, Wisconsin (5/12) will go on as scheduled. One thing is for sure, Bucky will soon be in the market for a new tour bus so he can continue to entertain his fans on the road this summer and fall!

Here's a concert reminder that got neglected in the midst of all this week's news:  102.5 The Bull is the sponsor of a free, all-ages Bucky Covington performance tomorrow evening (Thursday, May 10th) at the Tin Roof in Birmingham, AL.  Directions to the venue are behind this link, and the music begins at 7:00 pm. The night continues with a set by Sean Rivers; sounds like a fun event!  (By the way, we noticed that Bucky's labelmate Shooter Jennings will play the Tin Roof on Sunday, May 20th--you folks in Birmingham are getting all the good stuff this month.)

We'll be back ASAP--in the meantime, feel free to give Bucky and "I Wanna Be That Feeling"  a round of applause at GAC and CMT by hitting those convenient and colorful buttons at the top right of your screen.  See you very soon!--W

And the good news just keeps on comin'! Bucky Covington tweeted this terrific update yesterday evening: "2012 CMA Music Fest - MARK YOUR CALENDARS! currently scheduled to perform at the Bud Light Stage at Bridgestone Arena Plaza: Sat, June 9 5pm"  Congratulations to all of Bucky's CMA Fest-going fans!  The Tune In Music City blog at The Tennessean has the full free stages lineup--check it out and get ready for a great time in Nashville...

Another note for those attending CMA Fest--this year's Fan Fair Hall autograph process will be different from the "first come, first served" scene of years past.  An online entry process will allow you to get your autograph passes ahead of time; click here for more information on the new arrangements. (And good luck!)

More news from the CMA Fest file; on Saturday morning, June 9th, Bucky, along with Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and many more country and media stars will be part of the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge.  It's happening at 9 am at Greer Stadium  (534 Chestnut St. in Nashville),  and tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.

Last on the Fest related list, but definitely not least--looks like there will indeed be a Fan Club party in Nashville this year!  Keep it tuned to all the usual spots (especially the excellent Buckytown USA blog)  for updates and details...

That trade ad up there is beautiful, isn't it?  Country Aircheck's weekly edition was graced with Bucky's smiling face, and the ad tells the story--lots of radio stations (11 as of last night!) added his new single, "I Wanna Be That Feeling", upon its official release yesterday.  We hope your local country station is among them--if not, call 'em up and let them know you'd love to hear Bucky!  You can also vote for his hot new video at GAC and CMT by clicking those buttons at the top right of your screen.
