Take the Pledge with Bucky Covington, Help the Good Guys and Kidde: "Be A Hero, Save A Hero" fire safety campaign begins

A little taste of Hometown Country goodness, via the very generous --here's Bucky Covington and his band onstage in Hamlet, NC last weekend.  There's lots more live-show fun to come this fall-- check out Bucky's calendar at eOne and the sidebar at Buckytown USA, and join the party!

Bucky Covington and the folks at Kidde are inviting us all to Take The Pledge (and share the pledge, via social media) as the "Be A Hero, Save A Hero" fire-safety campaign begins with a beautiful ad set to air during the CMA Awards, November 1st on ABCCheck out Bucky's video spot for the campaign at the AlarmPledge.com website, and spread the word by posting the following at Twitter:  "I pledge to , with smoke alarms in every room.  Join me! At , each pledge donates $1 to injured firefighters".  On Facebook, you can help by posting the pledge and the link, "liking" Kidde, and/or entering their Facebook contest.

Each time the pledge is shared, $1 will be donated to help injured firefighters and their families, via the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Help the Good Guys. Needless to say, it's an awesome way for Bucky's many fans to make a beautiful statement in support of our real life heroes!

Another great Hamlet memory--thanks to the very gracious Happydays for this photo of Bucky Covington at the Cole.  Her Photobucket album from the show is here; she says "snag all you want"!

Music Row reports in their Benefit News column that Bucky, Kidde President Jim Ward, and fire officials will formally launch the campaign on Thursday, November 1st at 10:30 am at the Nashville Fire Dept., Station #9, located at 601 2nd Ave S.  But wait, there's more!  Help The Good Guys posted word at Facebook that HTGG and Bucky will be in Chattanooga, TN on November 10th for a Chattanooga Firefighter's Association benefit.  Stay tuned for updates...

On the radio and on CMT and GAC, Bucky's single "Drinking Side of Country" is a full-on, three minute party.  Don't get left out!  Vote for Bucky and Shooter at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, request Bucky's hit at your local country station, and share the fun. Enjoy the evening, everybody!
