Radio days: Bucky Covington at the CMA Awards and more...

Bucky Covington promo photo by Kristin Barlowe--click here to see the stunning Barlowe-directed music video for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" from Bucky's new album, Good Guys.

Today, Bucky Covington joined his fellow country notables and took some pre-CMA Awards time out to talk to the country radio and media stars who keep us entertained all day and all night.  Among the many personalities he chatted with were Daniels and Diaz of Louisville's New Country Q 103.1 (enjoy a photo here);  Andy and Allison of WIVK in Knoxville, Captain Jack and Lindsay of Renegade Radio Nashville and Jessica Northey of CMChatLive (another fun photo here)--and that's just the tip of the iceberg!  Be sure to keep it tuned to your local country radio station as the big night draws closer, and check their website for podcasts and photos...

Meanwhile, as we wait for Thursday's red carpet to roll out and the awards to get going on ABC, Bucky's rowdy single "Drinking Side of Country" deserves more airtime, too.  Vote for it GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack, and request it at your favorite station.

We mentioned that (literally!) sweet pancake breakfast fundraiser in Chattanooga earlier today--but we neglected to add that the event has its own page on Facebook. If you'll be joining Bucky, Help the Good Guys and the Chattanooga Firefighters Association Local 820 at Chattanooga Fire Station No. 1 (210 E. Main St.) for the acoustic concert and delicious morning fare to benefit Tristin Greer, hit that event page and let them know--they'll be happy to hear from you!

Finally, a reminder about that very important "Be a Hero, Save A Hero" drive at AlarmPledge.com--how much fun would it be for Bucky's fans to make a huge splash on Twitter and Facebook and help out firefighters in need at the very same time?  Bucky's video spot for the campaign (click here to watch it now) will be seen by zillions of folks, very few of whom will know about the important work of Help the Good Guys and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. With a simple cut and paste, we can raise awareness and raise $1 per pledge; and it's a safe bet that Bucky's smiling face (and awesome voice;  that's "I'm Alright" playing in the background of the ad) will do the rest. If you're just tuning in, welcome--check out Bucky's excellent new album at Amazon, iTunes, the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store--where an IAFF Special Edition CD with bonus tracks is on offer--Bucky's official site, or at a music retailer near you. We'll see you tomorrow--sweet dreams, everyone!
