Bucky Covington and Kidde have teamed up to bring you the "Be A Hero, Save A Hero" fire-safety campaign--check out Bucky's video spot for the campaign at the AlarmPledge.com website, take the pledge and share the pledge at Twitter and Facebook.  Each time the pledge is shared, $1 will be donated to help injured firefighters and their families, via the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Help the Good Guys.

Updated 8:00 pm ET: As you might have guessed, it's been another busy day for Bucky ahead of tomorrow's CMA Awards.  This afternoon, he Tweeted fun photos of himself with the lovely Lauren Alaina, with Big Kenny and with voice artist John Willyard.

Tomorrow should be a blast, of course! There's a must-read news note at the IAFF Local 2647 site about the formal launch of the "Be A Hero, Save A Hero" drive, including a reminder to check Kidde's Twitter and Facebook for photos from the red carpet--looks like several fire officials will be gracing the red carpet at the CMAs this year. Tomorrow morning's press event with Bucky, Kidde President Jim Ward and fire officials happens at 10:30 am at Nashville Fire Department Station #9 (601 2nd Avenue S. in Nashville).

We've got two 100% confirmed events coming up--an acoustic concert and pancake breakfast at Chattanooga Fire Station No. 1 (210 E. Main St.) for the benefit of Tristin Greer (see details in this post) on November 10th, and that November 17th benefit concert at the Stardust Drive-In Theater  in Watertown, TN sponsored by Music With a Purpose.  Upcoming winter concert dates include a December 1st show at the County Line Saloon in Melbourne, FL,  a December 2nd concert at the Rodeo Country Music Night Club in Mount Dora, FL, and a stop at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Foxborough, MA on January 5th. Check out Bucky's concert calendar here--more dates are added often!

As always, you're invited to join us in voting for Bucky's rockin' new single  "Drinking Side of Country"  at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack.  Have a great night, everybody!
