Quick news: A review of "Good Guys" at GAC, and new Bucky Covington concert dates...

Rocky Covington, Ducky Medlock, and Bucky Covington celebrated a fast-paced day at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway a little while back; many thanks to the very kind Hildi for sharing this beautiful photo!

Bucky Covington's new album, Good Guys, is just a week away, and GAC's  Daryl Addison had a lot (good!) to say in his review of the upcoming release at GACTV.com:

The light rasp and subtle twang in Bucky’s delivery feel right at home in Mark A. Miller and Dale Oliver’s loose-sounding production. Tracks aren’t processed to the point of no return, which allows songs like the Lionel Richie cover “Sail On” to carry a very comfortable feel. Supported with piano and acoustic guitars, Bucky navigates the melodies with a natural feel, calling out through the bridge, Sail on, honey, good times never felt so good, with a ’70s country groove. On the soulful “Hold A Woman,” he provides the soundtrack to a date night spent on the couch with the fireplace going as bluesy organ fills add to the atmosphere.
Be sure to check out the whole review--and if you'd like to pre-order Good Guys, you can do it at Amazon, iTunesBucky's official site, and at the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store right now!

Bucky's live calendar is looking good, too--new dates are listed at BuckyCovington.com today, including shows at two different Toby Keith's I Love This Bar locations (1623 Park Place St. Louis Park MN on 10/10, tickets here, and at 4698 Baldwin Road in Auburn Hills, MI on 10/12) and a benefit concert for Music With A Purpose at the Stardust Drive-In Theater (310 Purple Tiger Drive in Watertown, TN) on 11/17.  Bucky's first show of 2013 is listed too;  party with him and his band at Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den in Uncasville CT on 1/6.  No matter where or when you get there, a live Bucky Covington show is a fantastic time--be there!

We'll close with our daily reminder to vote for Bucky, Shooter Jennings and "Drinking Side of Country" at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack and CMT's Top 20 CountdownRequest him at your local country radio station, too.  Enjoy the night!
