Quick news: Bucky Covington's "Good Guys" available for pre-order at iTunes, CNN's Impact Your World and a 9 o'clock news tip in Nashville...

Bucky Covington, Ducky Medlock (center) and Rocky Covington on stage in Rockingham, NC--thanks again to our talented friend Judy Lang. Bucky, Rocky and Ducky wrote "Drinking Side of Country", which officially hits radio today--watch the viral hit video here, download it at iTunes, and request it at your local station tonight!

We'll start with a time-sensitive tip for Bucky Covington's fans in Nashville, via Bucky at Twitter"Hey Nashville - tune in tonight to at 9pm - there may be a special Bucky treat for you all!"  If you're in Music City, please let us all know what the segment is about after it airs--inquiring minds want to know...

Bucky's fans everywhere now have the option of enjoying audio previews of tracks from his upcoming album, Good Guys, and preordering his album at iTunes now.  The album will be released on September 11th.  (Vote for "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at  GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown,  and for both "I Wanna Be That Feeling" and "Drinking Side of Country" at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack and help spread the word about Bucky's return to the album charts!)

Finally, a sweet heads-up straight from the official Bucky Covington and IAFF Online Facebooks:

Country music star and Help the Good Guys spokesperson Bucky Covington participated in Camp Hope for burned children in Nashville last week where CNN’s Impact Your World shadowed Bucky and captured camper’s stories of strength and survival. Bucky helped serve lunch to campers then joined them for a spirited game of Trolley, where campers learned the importance of teamwork and the challenges of leadership. IAFF members from Chattanooga, TN Local 820 and Columbia, TN Local 4381 provided assistance to campers. The day ended with an interview by CNN about the great work being done by the IAFF Burn Fund and the burn centers the IAFF works with closely. The segment will run in the fall. A portion of the sales of Covington's new CD benefit the IAFF Charitable Foundation, which includes the IAFF Burn Fund. Help the Good Guys was created to honor and support the nation’s professional fire fighters.

Check out a great photo of Bucky and fellow volunteers serving lunch to the campers here, and stay tuned for news on the airdate for the segment later this year.  (A Special IAFF Edition of Bucky's Good Guys album is available for preorder at the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store now.)

We'll see you here tomorrow evening--have a great night, and feel free to request "Drinking Side of Country" at your local country station!
