Bucky Covington and band live in Perryville MD, 12/10, a contest at Bros Covington and some more "I Wanna Be That Feeling" buzz...

A hot new single (
"I Wanna Be That Feeling", available now at iTunes), and an upcoming album--lots to smile about! Many thanks to the very kind Rachel for sending this terrific shot of Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington (on drums) sharing smiles with the crowd at the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs. There are a few more chances for you to share a smile with Bucky and his band at a live show this year; click here to visit Bucky's official site, or check out the sidebar at Buckytown USA.

With all the excitement about Bucky Covington's new single yesterday (get "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at iTunes and Amazon now!) we neglected to post a reminder about his December 10th show in Perryville, Maryland. Here's a repost of all the details from sponsor station 103 WXCY:

Christmas in the Country, sponsored by Cowtown Cowboy Outfitters, will take place on Saturday, December 10th, at the Minker Banquet Hall - 920 Principio Furnace Rd, Perryville. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are $40 each, and includes the show and a full dinner buffet, appetizers and desserts courtesy of MacGregor's Restaurant. A cash bar will also be available. All proceeds benefit The Ray of Hope Mission. Must be 21 or older to attend.

To reserve your tickets, please call 866-664-1037. Tickets will be mailed to you after payment is received. Send your check payable to "Ray of Hope" to:

(It's so close to show time that we'd suggest calling ASAP--they'll probably have a will-call option for those who'd still like to be part of the fun. Good luck!)Link
Meanwhile, the buzz about Bucky's new single is growing. Along with that Country Weekly video interview and the on-the-set photos in the print version of the magazine (on newsstands now), GAC posted an announcement about "I Wanna Be That Feeling" in the News and Notes section, and blogs like Country Standard Time, Keepin' It Country and Country's Chatter shared the good word, too. The next, stop, of course, is country radio--we don't have an official add date yet, but as soon as it's set, we'll post it here. In the meantime, feel free to give Bucky and his excellent band a round of applause at a live show near you! There are only a few dates remaining this year, but with a brand new single to support, we're guessing that Bucky will be very busy (again) after a well deserved holiday rest. Bookmark his official site and the sidebar at Buckytown USA and stay tuned...

Finally, here's a fun note from our friends at the Brothers Covington fan Facebook and Twitter--they're sponsoring a contest with a one year online membership to Bucky's official fan club as first prize! The details are available at their Facebook right now. Good luck to all--see you soon!
