Bucky Covington took time out to talk to Sarah Clark of RoundAboutU.com before his show in Murray, KY a few days back; highlights include a fun idea for an aquatic stage entrance, a sweet shout out to Rocky Covington (including great footage of Rocky on drums), a thank you to his fans, and a mention by the hostess of his much-anticipated new album's intended release this fall. We're hoping to hear much more news on that in the coming months...
Speaking of fall, two new concert dates have been added to the schedule at Bucky's official site--a headlining date at the Breathitt Heritage Fair in Jackson, KY on October 1st, and a show at the Vidalia Amphitheater in Vidalia, LA on October 22. (Thanks to the awesome Buckytown USA blog for the heads-up.)
In the meantime, there's spring and summer fun for Bucky's fans--his next show happens tonight at Cafe Firenze in Birmingham, AL; tickets will be available at the door, but at the rate Bucky's Hometown Tour shows have been selling out, it's probably better to get there as early as possible. (Those of us who can't be there can always enjoy Bucky on the radio, courtesy of our local country station's request lines.)
